BASIC COOKING METHODS
With hot air circulating in the 0-250°C temperature range, the Air Fryer has many cooking
functions including baking, roasting, grilling, frying, toasting and BBQ. It can also defrost frozen
foods quickly as well as drying and sterilizing. Little or no oil is needed but if oil is used only a
thin layer of oil should be evenly applied to the food. Spray or brush oil onto the rack to assist
with easier removal of cooked food. The first time you try a recipe; regularly check the cooking
progress by inspecting it through the clear lid.
Please note that high liquid recipes such as soups, puddings, should not be cooked in this
machine.
Baking, Roasting, BBQ and Grilling
Place the Wire Rack, Baking Cage or Rotisserie onto the centre of the pot. You can either place
food directly on the rack or place in the Baking cage or the Rotisserie fork. The food will be
cooked inside and out with lower fat content. For very thick cuts of meat, turn the food at the
halfway point. Cooking time may vary depending on cut, size, amount of fat, etc.
Air Frying
Little or no oil is used, yet the effect is like pan frying or deep frying. If oil is used, only a thin
layer of oil should be evenly applied to the food with the aid of a pastry brush. Spray or brush
oil onto the bowl or food to assist with easier removal of cooked food.
Once food has finished cooking, open the lid otherwise the steam will cause the food to become
soggy.
Toasting
You can get perfectly toasted bread and snacks with the convection oven without preheating.
Simply put the food directly on the wire rack, turn the temperature to maximum and watch it
toast. It will be crisp on the outside and stay soft on the inside.
You can also improve stale snack foods like crackers, chips and even cookies by placing them in
the fryer for a few minutes at maximum temperature to bring back their crunchiness.
MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper operational order.
Before Cleaning
When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.

in water.

towel.
To clean fan cover unplug the appliance and cool completely. Wipe top of fan cover with a
Soapy damp cloth or sponge to remove any grease.
Self-Cleaning
For self-cleaning, add half inch of water with mild detergent. Close the head/lid.
Set the temperature to 60
o
C, set the timer for 15 min and allow residue to soften as it heats.
Unplug and allow to cool completely before continuing to clean.

Always check that the appliance is in good working order and that all removable parts are
secure. Check the power supply cord and plug regularly for cuts or damage.
