SET UP GUIDE

Ltd. This quick set up guide is here to assist you get your system
connected and working with the help of your installer!
Please note: It is essential that a trained professional comes to check
your work and correctly install the system.

Open package and check you have the following:
1 x VPL-VZ1000 Sony 4K short throw projector
1 x Marantz SR5014 4K Ultra HD AV Receiver with HEOS Built-In
2 x Definitive Technology BP9040 High-Performance Tower Speaker (Single)
2 x Definitive Technology BP9020 High-Performance Tower Speaker (Single)
1 x Definitive Technology CS9040 High-Performance Speaker
1 x Kinetik KLIC-SP2-50 2 Core LSZH Speaker Cable 50m Cardboard Pull Box
1 x SlimWireMax3m 4K UHD 18GBPS HDMI cable 3m
PLEASE NOTE: Items not included in the package
- Subwoofer cables
- Ethernet leads
- Cable tidy items
- Tools
Install Projector in correct position by following the instructions provided in the box
Ensure all necessary cables are at projector position
1 X 3M Slimwire Max HDMI Cable (video feed from AVR)
Connect all cables to the back of the Projector
Cat-6 -> Ethernet port (not included)
HDMI cable -> HDMI 1 or 2 input

Once the Projector is installed and cables are all connected, unpack the speakers and place
them in the correct position
Connect the speaker cable and subwoofer cable to each floor standing speaker and confirm
each speaker has power

Connect the speaker cables to the correct input as shown in the diagram below
Carefully check the left (L) and right (R) channels and + (red) and – (black) polarities on the speakers
being connected to this unit, and be sure to connect the channels and polarities correctly.
Peel off about 10mm of sheathing from the tip of the speaker cable, then twist the core wire
tightly
Turn the speaker terminal counter clockwise to loosen it
Insert the stripped cable into the terminal
Turn the speaker terminal clockwise to tighten it (making sure the core is not touching the
back of the AVR)

Connect the HDMI cable as shown in the diagram below
Connect the Power cable to the AVR and follow the on screen set up instructions
