6. Problems / Solutions
If you have a problem after installing the system, please read the following information:
1. Doors and walls may reduce the detector range to less than 25 meters
2. Alarm center
a) Make sure the batteries are properly charge and installed in the compartment provided.
b) Make sure your personal code has been programmed properly.
3. PIR detectors
a) Make sure the battery is properly installed
b) Make sure the PIR is not more than 25 meters from the alarm center. If it is near a metal
ground terminal, it will certainly have to be removed to another location.
c) Turn on the alarm center, wait 30 seconds and test the PIR detector (Wait 2 minutes
before passing in front of the detector for the test to be valid)
4. Doors or windows detectors
a) Make sure the battery is properly installed
b) Make sure the distance between each element does not exceed 10mm
c) Make sure the detector is not more than 25 meters from the alarm center. If it is near a
metal ground terminal, it will certainly have to be removed to another location.
d) Activate the alarm system without the entry delay time and open one of the secured
doors and windows. The red LED on the detector should light up for 1-2 seconds and the
alarm center should be activated. Deactivate the alarm center.
IMPORTANT TIPS
1.
Make sure not to drop any of the system components
2. Do not install PIR detector near a heater or other heating source.
3. Do not install the system somewhere it will be directly exposed to sunlight.
4. Do not use rechargeable batteries in any of the components.
5. The system components should be inside your home.
6. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries for optimal system operation.
7. The PIR detectors can detect animals such as dogs and cats, therefore your pets should not
be allowed to pass in areas where the alarm is activated.
8.
Keep these instructions in a location where you can easily find them if needed.
9. Test the system regularly to ensure proper operation.
10. Replace the batteries once a year or when necessary. Always use long life and high
quality alkaline batteries.
11. Please dispose of your used or defective batteries in compliance with accordance with the
local regulation to allow recycling.
12. Make sure there are no open flames such as candles or other, near the system.
13. The system should not be exposed to moisture or splashing water nor be placed near
objects filled with liquids, such as vases.
14. WARNING: Replace the batteries only with batteries recommended by the manufacturer or
similar quality.
19. CAUTION: Batteries may explode if they are not properly installed
