IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Although the SPORT SPOT
®
1,000,000 can be RECHARGED using either AC or DC POWER sources,
WARNING Do not operate directly from AC or DC sources.
*Attempting to operate the Sport Spot® directly from an AC or DC source with either charger may
result in damage to the unit and will void the warranty.
2. Do not use charging systems other than those supplied by the manufacturer.
3. Do not leave the Sport Spot® charging for more than 24 hours (AC method) or 6 hours (DC method).
4. Do not completely discharge the battery before recharging. Deep discharge will decrease battery life.
5. Never look directly into the light.
6. Use caution when handling the light as the lens becomes hot during use.
For initial charge, allow 20 hours for completion of a full charging cycle. For subsequent charges,
allow approximately 12-15 hours.

NOTE: When handling a new halogen bulb, do not touch the glass portion of the bulb. Natural oils
from your hands can cause the bulb to fail. If necessary, clean the bulb with alcohol or a liquid
window cleaner.
2. CHARGING:
WITH AC CHARGER - Plug the AC charger (included) into the jack on the back of the SPORT SPOT
®
1,000,000
body, and then plug into a standard AC wall outlet. Make sure the electric rating of your AC power supply
matches the requirements listed on the top of the AC charger. Make sure the locking trigger switch is in
the off position. The red LED indicator light (on the right of the spotlight housing) will illuminate to show the
spotlight is charging. For initial charge, allow 20 hours for completion of a full charging cycle. For subsequent
charges, allow approximately 12-15 hours.

WITH 12 VDC CHARGER - Plug the DC charger (included) into the jack on the back of the spotlight body,
and then insert the plug into the 12 volt DC accessory outlet of vehicle or any other 12 volt DC power
source. Make sure the locking trigger switch is in the OFF position. The red LED indicator light will illuminate
to show that the SPORT SPOT
®
1,000,000 is charging. Allow approximately 3–6 hours charging time.
NOTE: Be sure to use only the adapter cords supplied by the manufacturer for recharging -
the use of unauthorized adapter cords may damage the unit and will void the warranty.
3. OPERATION:
1. Disconnect from charger.
2. The trigger switch is located in the front of the pistol-grip handle of the spotlight.
3. To turn the SPORT SPOT
®
ON, squeeze the trigger switch.
4. To turn OFF the SPORT SPOT
®
release the trigger switch.
5. To LOCK the trigger into the on position for continuous operation, squeeze the trigger switch and
firmly press the trigger locking button located on the side of the handle. The spotlight will stay on
until the lock is released or until battery has been discharged.

Fully charged, the SPORT SPOT
®
1,000,000 should provide 20-25 minutes of continuous operation.
4. HANDS-FREE OPERATION:
USING THE BUILT-IN HANGING HOOK:
• Lift the hook into the upright position
• Use the hook to position the spotlight in any safe, convenient location, for hands-free use.
5. REPLACING THE BA
TTERY PACK:
Warning: Batteries produce explosive gasesand can explode
Wear saftey shield. (User and bystanders) Keep sparks and flames
away from batteries.
Flying particles can cause eye injury.
• The life expectancy of the 6 volt, 4.5 amp-hour, sealed lead-acid battery is approximately 500
charging cycles. A replacement battery may be purchased from an electrical supply store or from
Vector Technical Support, (954) 584-4446, or toll-free (866) 584-5504
• Do not allow battery to completely discharge. A dim light indicates that the battery charge is low, and
should be recharged. Charge battery as soon as possible after each use
1. Disconnect the SPORT SPOT® 1,000,000 from the power source.
2. Remove the rubber bezel.
3. Loosen and remove six screws located on right side of spotlight housing.
4. Lift up and set aside the right side of the housing.
5. Carefully unplug positive and negative wires from battery clips and remove battery pack.
(Do not let the connectors touch together).
6. Attach a new battery pack to wires, taking care to match up proper polarity (positive (red) to
positive; negative (black) to negative).
7. Position battery in housing, and reassemble spotlight body. Tighten all screws.
Battery Disposal:
1. The sealed lead acid battery contained in the SPORT SPOT
®
1,000,000 should be disposed of
properly once it has expired. Some states require recycling. Please contact your local solid waste
authority for recycling information.
2. Before disposing of the battery, protect exposed terminals with heavy-duty tape to prevent shorting
(shorting can result in injury or fire). Do not expose battery to fire or intense heat as it may explode.
6. BULB REPLACEMENT:
1. Disconnect the Sport Spot
®
1,000,000 from the power source.
2. Remove rubber bezel.
3. Loosen and remove six screws that secure spotlight housing.
4. Lift up and set aside the right side of the housing.
5. Remove wire spring and carefully pull out old bulb from the terminal.
6. Replace with a new H3, 6V halogen bulb unit (minimum
H3, 6V, 55W) available from an electrical supply house, or
from Vector Technical Support at (954) 584-4446
or toll-free (866) 584-5504.
7. Reverse the above procedure to re-assemble the spotlight.
