WILLNOTFITTHEOUTLET;HAVEAPROPER

OUTLETINSTALLEDBYAQUALIFIEDELECTRICIAN.



Thistreadmillcanbeseriouslydamagedbysuddenvoltagechangesinyourhome’selectricalpower.Voltagespikes,surges

andnoiseinterferencecanresultfromweatherconditionsorfromotherappliancesbeingturnedonoroff.To

reducethe

possibilityoftreadmilldamage,alwaysuseasurgeprotector(notincluded)withyourtreadmill.



Surgeprotectorscanbepurchasedatmosthardwarestores.Themanufacturerrecommendsasingleoutletsurgeprotector

withaUL1449ratingasaTransientVoltageSurgeSuppressor(TVSS)withaULsuppressedvoltage

ratingof400Vorlessand

anelectricalrating110VAC,15amps.



Thistreadmillmustbegroundedtoreducetheriskofelectricalshock.Groundingprovidesapathofleastresistancefor

electriccurrent,shouldthetreadmillmalfunction.Thistreadmillcomeswithanelectricalcordhavingan

equipment‐groundingconductor

andagroundingplug.Alwaysplugthepowercordintoasurgeprotector,andplugthesurge

protectorintoanappropriateoutletthatisproperlyinstalledandgroundedinaccordancewithalllocalcodesand

ordinances.


