4. INSTALLING
N.B. : If you try your product before installing it, please be sure not to do it with the roadside panel and the
monitor in the same room, otherwise the video door phone will produce a shrill sound (Larsen effect)
Before the installation :
(Removal procedure of the call button of the roadside panel to access the nameplate (fig.3))
1. With a screwdriver, remove the camera block from the roadside panel (A)
2. Remove the call button block from the front panel with a light pressure on the side tabs (B)
3. With a screwdriver, unscrew the screw and separate the button from the nameplate block.
4. Remove the protective cover and write your name on the label.
5. Replace carefully the block in its original position.
a. Installing the exterior camera (outdoor station) (fig.4)
1.Flush mount the plastic box (3) taking care not to block the locking nuts of the roadside panel.
2. Remove the 2 screw covers (4) with a small screwdriver to put in the notch (5)
3. Plug the connecting wire observing the wiring diagram (page 6)
4. Fix the roadside panel on the flush-mounted box with 2 special screws supplied (2)
5. Install the 2 screw covers (4)
Caution : Do not expose the camera to direct sun light or to reflective surface. As the camera is flush-mounted,
we strongly advice you to protect it from the rain with an inclined tile or any other mean.
Put a silicon gasket on the upper half between the external panel and the wall (6)
Do not use silicone-based acetic acid (vinegar smell)
Tip: we recommend passing the cables through a protective sleeve to shield them from impacts and the weather.
b. Installing the reply station (monitor) (fig.5)
1. Fasten the wall mounting (2) so that the monitor screen is at a height of approximately 1.60 metres.
2. Connect the wires from the street unit.
3. Connect the adaptor plug (3) into the back of the monitor (without connecting it to the mains).
4. Position the monitor (1) on the wall mounting (2).
5. Connect the power supply unit plug to the 230 V wall connector.
Note: If the power supply cable has to be cut, ensure that the colour coding of the wires is maintained when
reconnecting.(white edging (+)
5. WIRING
To avoid disturbance and malfunction risks, do not put “low current” wires in the same sheath as high current wires.
Caution : In any case, do not double the wires to increase size
a. Connecting the videophone (fig. 6)
Use the following wires: • lengths up to 25 metres: 2 x 6/10 wires
• lengths between 25 and100 metres: 2 x 1.5 mm

1. Connect the wires securely following the wiring diagram (fig. 6)
2. To connect the camera, only 2 wires are necessary for all the functions: ring tone, video image, door phone and
door-opener control (a latch and an automatic control).
Observe the polarity between the screen and the external camera (no polarity is to be observed for the door-
opener control).
• Terminal “1” from the screen to the terminal “1” of the camera
• Terminal “2” from the screen to the terminal “2” of the camera
Important :
• For the wiring diagram please consult the label on the back of the monitor and the back of the video camera.
