ble 3” exible pipe.
#816-CAP is (1) round terminaon cap.
IMPORTANT: Proper operaon of this insert requires
the exhaust pipe and combuson air pipe to be con-
nected to their correct ue collar, on both the termina-
on kit and the gas replace insert vent adapter.
The replace insert exhaust ue collar is located on
the right side. Install terminaon cap with the ex-
haust ue collar on the right side.
IMPORTANT: Maximum horizontal vent runs of
24” (609mm) require a 1” (25mm) rise per
12” (305mm) run. Care should be taken when installing
the exible vent pipes to avoid a ght bend that may
cause abrasion or damage to the exible pipes
1. Measure the total chimney length required. If need-
ed, carefully extend the pipes, and cut to the meas-
ured length.
2. Slide the combuson air intake pipe over combus-
on air intake collar (A) and secure with (3) self-
tapping screws (not provided).
3. Place a bead of high temperature sealant around
the base of the exhaust vent collar (B). Slide the
exhaust pipe over the collar and into the high tem-
perature sealant. Secure with (3) self- tapping
screws (not provided). Mark the opposite end of
the exhaust pipe for easy idencaon during the
installaon.

IMPORTANT: Maximum horizontal vent runs of
24” (609mm) require a 1” (25mm) rise per
12” (305mm) run. Care should be taken when installing
the exible vent pipes to avoid a ght bend that may
cause abrasion or damage to the exible pipes.
Aer the co-linear to co-axial vent adapter, the co-axial
pipe requires a minimum of 1” (25mm) clearance to
combusbles on all sides of the rigid pipe.
Maximum horizontal run of 3” x 3” exible pipe
length: 24” (610mm)
Minimum total combinaon of co-linear and co-
axial vent pipe: 10’ (3.05m)
