Some guidelines
Some partsof thelenslikethe lens ring are fragile and may be damaged when the lens is handled without the necessary precautions,
therefore :

1. Kit description
• Never place the lens horizontally (causes torsion on the ring)
• Never place the lens unit on its top side (fixation of the ring on top side)
• Never grasp the lens by the r ing
• Always place the lens on its bott om side
• Always use the lens cover

2.2 Installing the lens on the iCon projector
2.2.1 Removing/installing the cable basket
Necessary tools
No tools.
How to remove the cable basket ?
1. Press on the top of the cable basket so as to unlock the top part from the projector.

2. Pull the cable basket so as to free it from the bottom locks.
How to install the cable basket
1. Place the 2 feet of the cable basket in to the 2 bottom locks of the projector.

2. Installing the lens

2. Bring the basket towards the projector and press on it so as to lock it at the top.
2.2.2 Removing the lens cover

How to remove the lens cover ?
1. Loosen the 2 indicated screws.

2. Open the protective cloth (en large the opening) and pull the lens cover gently towards the front of the projector.
2.2.3 Removing the installed lens
How to remove the installed lens ?
1. Disconnect the lens from the motor connection board
2. Support the lens with one hand.

3. Pull out the locking pin and flip the lens locking handle to the right (with the index finger) at the same time.
4. Pull the lens gently ou
t of the lens holder.
2.2.4 Mounting the lens
How to mount the lens
1. Bring the lens gen
tly into the lens holder and press gently so as to open the 3 locking points
The position of the lens is now secured by the 3 locking points.

2. Lock the handle with the locking pin
3. Connect the lens to the motor connection board
2.2.5 Mounting the lens cover
How to mount the lens cover
1. Open the protective cloth and slide the cover over the lens.
2. Bring the lens cover backwards and position it.

3. Tighten the 2 screws.
2.3 Lens installation on the SIM6 projector
How to install ?
Follow the next procedure :
1. Open the lens cover of the projector by pivoting it up and take it off.

2. Pull the lens locks levers backwards to open the lens locks.

3. Put the lens on the lens holder.

4. Push the lens locks ba ck in position and lock the levers.
5. Plug the wires of the motor unit into the connector

6. Re-install the lens cove r.
The procedure for the mounting of a Scheimpflug lens is different.
Refer to the installation manual of the lens.
