rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries

2. Hold the bag in one hand and the sealer
in the other. Press the bar down for 3
seconds to preheat the heat wire.
3. Apply light pressure and slide the sealer
over the bag
to create a
sealing line.
Be sure to
slide from
your starting
point, then
across the edge of the bag.
4. Turn the
bag over.
Seal the
open side of
the bag by
crossing the
initial sealing
line with a
second sealing line across the bag.
6
n Notes:
The handy sealer only needs to be
preheated one time per use.
Use light pressure to seal. Press, don’t
squeeze.
Before you begin, use your handy sealer
on an empty bag that is heat sealable.
This will help you get a feel for the press.
Most plastic and foil bags are heat
sealable, but a few are not.
Before sealing, smooth out the top of the
bag’s edges evenly to eliminate wrinkles.
No food, dirt, or oil should be between
the inner walls of the bag where the seal
is to be made.
During usage, if the sealer melts a hole
in the bag being sealed, move more
quickly.
Most plastic or foil bags used to store
food have a seam running vertically on
the backside of the bag from the top
to the bottom. Start the seal with the
backside of the bag facing you. Seal in
the same direction as the seam of the
bag to be sealed, not against the seam.
7
3Use the Bag Opener
1. Flip out the bag opener on
the bottom of the sealer.
2. Smooth the bag you want
to open and insert the
edge of the bag into the
slot of the bag opener.
3. Slide the bag opener across the bag to
open it.
