Below you will find brief product information for Parkside KH 4125: The KH 4125 drill-powered water pump is intended for use with standard electric drills with a 43 mm spindle shaft and scroll chuck and a rotation speed of up to 3,400 rpm. It can be used for pumping cold or up to 40°C warm fluids, as in the draining or transfer of water in aquariums, ponds or large containers/barrels.

The pump can deliver a capacity of up to 2.4 cubic meters per hour, with a maximum pressure of 3 bar and a maximum delivery height of 30 m. It has a maximum dry run time of 12 seconds and a maximum rotation speed of 3400 rpm.

Safety instructions

To avoid the risk of accidents:

• Only operate the pump when it is effectively secured against twisting,

wrenching or canting by correct use of the supplied mounting.

• Check the pump for faultless service-ability before every utilisation. The

pump may not be used if it shows signs of damage.

• Use only hoses certified as being able to withstand a pressure of at

least 3 bars (44 psi).

• Check the plug-in connectors on the hoses for firm seating.

• Ensure that fluids cannot come close to the electric drill being used to

drive the pump. Should it nonetheless occur, immediately remove the

power plug.

• This device is not suitable for children or for people whose physical,

sensorial or intellectual faculties prevent the safe usage of the appliance

without support or supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the appliance.

This pump is intended for ...

– standard electric drills with a 43 mm spindle shaft and scroll chuck and

a rotation speed of up to 3,400 rpm,

– for the pumping of cold or up to 40° C warm fluids, as in the draining

or transfer of water in aquariums, ponds or large containers/barrels.

– for the pumping of inflammable, explosive, poisonous or caustic fluids or

foodstuffs.

onto a work surface

as shown in the diagramme.

Alternatively, the mounting

can be fixed to a work surface by means

of screws (Assembly material not supplied).

 Insert the spindle shaft of the electric drill

into the mounting

 Now slide the pump

onto the mounting

so that the drive axle of the

pump extends into the drill chuck, and the pegs of the mounting

are

inserted into the receptor holes on the pump

 Through the recess

, turn the drill chuck with the chuck key so tight that

the pump cannot be detached from the mounting.

 Securely tighten the cross-head screw on the mounting

so that the drill

is being firmly held .

 Connect the suction hose to connection

and the pressure hose to

connection

Utilisation

 Insert the open end of the suction hose into the fluid to be drained/

transferred. Suction is only possible if ...

– the suction hose does not draw air and is not longer than 12 meters

(ca. 39 feet), and

– the pressure hose is open during suction.

 Now allow the electric drill to drive the pump – but not without super-

vision, so as to be able to react quickly in the event of danger. Make

absolutely sure that the drill revolves to the right, just as in drilling. Should

the drill-speeds be adjustable, you can adjust the work capacity with

them.

Attention!

If the pump does not commence suction within 12 seconds, switch off imme-

diately so as to avoid impeller seizure.For this same reason, do not allow the

pump to run if the hose on the discharge side is blocked.

Cleaning and care

To clean the pump, use only a dry or lightly moistened cloth. DO NOT use

solvents or abrasive cleaners, these will damage the plastic surfaces.

The pump is maintenance-free.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your

community waste facility.

Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please

contact your waste disposal centre.

Dispose of the packaging materials in an environmentally responsible

manner.

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

Για την αποφυγή κινδύνου ατυχήµατος:

• Λειτουργείτε την αντλία µόνο όταν έχει ασφαλιστεί µε την εσώκλειστη βάση

στήριξης από συµπλοκή, συστροφή ή αναποδογύρισµα.

• Ελέγχετε την αντλία για την άψογη κατάσταση πριν από κάθε χρήση.

Η αντλία δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιµοποιείται, εάν υπάρχουν ορατές ζηµιές.

• Χρησιµοποιείτε µόνο σωλήνες οι οποίοι είναι αεροστεγείς τουλάχιστο έως

τα 3 bar.

• Ελέγχετε τα βύσµατα στους σωλήνες για τη σταθερή τους θέση.

• Φροντίζετε ώστε να µην µπορούν να φτάσουν υγρά στο τρυπάνι µε το οποίο

λειτουργείτε την αντλία. Εάν ωστόσο συµβεί αυτό, τραβήξτε αµέσως το

βύσµα.

• Αυτή η συσκευή δεν ενδείκνυται για παιδιά ή άλλα άτοµα των οποίων οι

ψυχικές, αισθητηριακές ή πνευµατικές δυνατότητες εµποδίζουν µια ασφαλή

χρήση της συσκευής χωρίς υποστήριξη ή επιτήρηση. Τα παιδιά πρέπει να

επιτηρούνται ώστε να εξασφαλίζεται ότι δεν παίζουν µε τη συσκευή.

– για την άντληση εύφλεκτων, εκρηκτικών, δηλητηριωδών ή ερεθιστικών υγρών

ή τροφίµων.

 Εισάγετε το τρυπάνι

µε το σφιγκτήρα τρυπανιού στη βάση στήριξης

 Ωθήστε τώρα την αντλία

έτσι στη βάση στήριξης

, ώστε ο άξονας

µετάδοσης κίνησης της αντλίας να προεξέχει στο σφιγκτήρα τρυπανιού

και οι άξονες από τη βάση στήριξης

να είναι µέσα στις οπές υποδοχής

στην αντλία

 Περιστρέψτε το σφιγκτήρα τρυπανιού µε το κλειδί σφιγκτήρα τρυπανιού

µέσα από την εγκοπή

τόσο σφιχτά ώστε η αντλία να µην µπορεί πλέον

να χαλαρώσει από τη βάση στήριξης.

 Περιστρέψτε στη συνέχεια τη βίδα Φίλιπς στη βάση στήριξης

σφιχτά,

ώστε το τρυπάνι να µην µπορεί να χτυπά πέρα - δώθε.

 Συνδέστε το σωλήνα αναρρόφησης στη σύνδεση

και το σωλήνα πίεσης

στη σύνδεση

Χρήση

 Τοποθετήστε το ανοιχτό άκρο του σωλήνα αναρρόφησης µέσα στο υγρό

το οποίο πρέπει να αναρροφηθεί. Αυτό είναι µόνο δυνατό όταν ...

– ο σωλήνας αναρρόφησης δεν τραβά αέρα και δεν είναι µεγαλύτερος από

12 µ. και

– όταν κατά την αναρρόφηση ο σωλήνας πίεσης είναι ανοιχτός.

 Τώρα αφήστε το τρυπάνι να κινήσει την αντλία – ωστόσο όχι χωρίς επιτήρηση,

ώστε σε περίπτωση κινδύνου να µπορέσετε να αντιδράσετε γρήγορα.

Προσέχετε απαραίτητα και το ότι το τρυπάνι περιστρέφεται προς τα δεξιά,

δηλαδή όπως κατά τη διάτρηση. Στην περίπτωση που ο αριθµός στροφών

του τρυπανιού ρυθµίζεται, µπορείτε από εκεί να ρυθµίσετε την ποσότητα

προώθησης.

Προσοχή!

Εάν η αντλία δεν κάνει αναρρόφηση εντός 12 δευτερολέπτων, απενεργοποιήστε την

αµέσως ώστε να αποφύγετε ένα µπλοκάρισµα. Για το λόγο αυτό µην αφήσετε και

την αντλία να προωθεί όσο ο σωλήνας είναι φραγµένος στην πλευρά εξόδου.

Καθαρισµός και συντήρηση

Καθαρίζετε την αντλία µόνο µε ένα στεγνό ή ελαφρώς νωπό πανί. Μη χρησιµοποιείτε

διαλυτικά ή τριβικά µέσα, ώστε να µην προκαλείται ζηµιά στις πλαστικές επιφάνειες.

Η αντλία δε χρειάζεται συντήρηση.

Αποµάκρυνση

Ποτέ µην πετάτε τη συσκευή στα συνηθισµένα σκουπίδια

Αποµακρύνετε τη συσκευή µέσω µιας εγκεκριµένης επιχείρησης απόρριψης

ή µέσω της κοινοτικής επιχείρησης απόρριψης.

Να τηρείτε τους ισχύοντες κανονισµούς. Σε περίπτωση αµφιβολιών ελάτε

σε επαφή µε την επιχείρηση απόρριψης.

Αποµακρύνετε όλα τα υλικά συσκευασιών φιλικά προς το περιβάλλον.
