Press the power nozzle release
button.
Remove by sliding power nozzle to

Re-fitting power nozzle
Line up tabs with grooves and slide
until the power nozzle locks into
place.
Turn hose locking ring to the unlock
position (clockwise).
Pull hose out of power nozzle and
away from unit.

Reattach hose
Reattach hose by lining up tabs on
power nozzle with grooves on hose
and push into place.
Secure by turning locking ring to
the lock position (counter clock-
wise).
Remove crevice tool from the back
of the unit.

Insert crevice tool into the end of
hose.
Use crevice tool to clean tight
corners.
Replace crevice tool by lining up
tab in crevice slot with slot in
crevice tool storage.

Dirt container removal
Press dirt container release latch.
Rock dirt container down and away
from unit.
Grasp filter from the centre. Pull filter out of dirt container.

Re-fitting the dirt container
Empty contents into wastebasket.
For best results, lightly tap filter
against wastebasket to remove
remaining dirt. Filter may be washed
carefully, but must be completely dry
before re-use.
Reattach by aligning slot on dirt
container with base of unit (fig 2).
Tilt dirt container up until it locks
into place (fig 2a).
