SHUT-OFF VALVE + SOFT START VALVE
- Cut off the electrical and pneumatic power supplies, then vent the pneumatic system of the machine.
- Detach the solenoid valve (8) by undoing the two screws.
- Unscrew the silencer or the venting connection.
- Undo the four M5 nuts (7) and the four screws (1a).
- Remove the shut-off valve (4) from the upstream (2) and downstream (6) flanges and from the soft-start valve (9),
and possibly the retaining ring (12) or (12a) for the seal (10).
- Remove and discard all the seals as well as the long screws (1a), the nuts (7) and, possibly, the ring (12) or (12a).
- Clean the seal seatings.

Take the seals (3) and (10), the long screws (1a), the nuts (7) and the corresponding ring (12) or (12a) from the replacement kit.
- Lubricate the seals (3, 5 and 10) with Parker-O-Lube.
- Position the new shut-off valve (4) on the soft-start valve (9), positioning the seal (10) and the retaining ring (12 or 12a) for the seal.
- Position the upstream flange (2) (T-groove downwards) with its seal (3) on the shut-off valve (4).
- Positioning the downstream flange (6) (T-groove downwards) with its seal (5) on the shut-off valve (9).
- Insert the four screws (1a) through the components and fit the four M5 nuts (7) (screwing torque 2.5 Nm).
- Reinstall the solenoid pilot valve (8), be sure to orient it correctly (polarised).
- Screw the silencer or the venting connection back on.
- Carry out a functional test (pneumatic and electrical) of the shut-off valve.
DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
SHUT-OFF VALVE ONLY
- Cut off the electrical and pneumatic power supplies, then vent the pneumatic system of the machine.
- Detach the solenoid valve (8) by undoing the two screws.
- Unscrew the silencer or the venting connection.
- Undo the four M5 nuts (7) and the four screws (1).
- Remove the shut-off valve (4) the seals (3 and 5) from the upstream (2) and downstream (6) flanges.
- Remove and discard the seals (3 and 5), the short screws (1) and the nuts (7).
- Clean the seal seatings.
- Take the seals (3 and 5), the four shor t screws (1) and the nuts (7) from the replacement kit.
- Lubricate the seals with Parker-O-Lube.
- Position the new shut-off valve (4) with the arrows correctly orientated.
- Position the upstream flange (T-groove downwards) with its seal (3) on the shut-off valve (4).
- Position the downstream flange (6) (T-groove downwards) with its seal (5) on the shut-off valve (4).
- Insert the four screws (1) through the components and fit the four M5 nuts (7) (screwing torque 2.5 Nm).
- Reinstall the solenoid pilot valve (8), be sure to orient it correctly (polarised).
- Screw the silencer or the venting connection back on.
- Carry out a functional test (pneumatic and electrical) of the shut-off valve.
SHUT-OFF VALVE ON FRL LINE OR INSTALLATION WITH ASSEMBLY KIT
- Cut off the electrical and pneumatic power supplies, then vent the pneumatic system of the machine.
- Undo the socket head screws (A) of the upstream and/or downstream connecting pieces (B) to detach the valve from the FRL system,
be sure to retain the O-rings (do not discard) , and proceed with replacement as indicated above.
