2. INSTALLATION: GENERAL FEATURES
TYPE AND POSITION OF CONNECTIONS
See "Technical Data" at the beginning of this instruction manual.
2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The installation, modification or repair of the appliance must be carried out according to current
regulations by a specialised fitter.
These appliances are designed for professional use, they must be used by qualified personnel.
The appliances must be installed with sufficient ventilation to prevent the formation of excessive
concentrations of substances harmful for health in the premises in which they are installed.
These units are not designed to work in explosive atmospheres. Due to this, they must not be
installed in a zone relating to the ATEX provision.
The functioning of the appliance complies with the standards of electromagnetic perturbations in
force. Thus your equipment perfectly meets the statutory requirements. It is designed in order not to
hinder the functioning of other electrical equipment in so far as the latter also complies with the same
regulation.
Do not install your equipment under a shelf or close to flammable materials, such as curtains,
tentures, etc.
The equipment must be installed on a clean, horizontal, flat, stable and heat-resistant surface or
lined with such a material.
The air inlet under the appliance must not be obstructed (example: paper, cloth…).
Do not place any source of heat, steam or water projection close to the equipment.
After any shifting of the induction table, wait a few seconds before manipulating the keyboard.
The manufacturer certifies that the packaging conforms to the provision 94/62/CE of 20.12.94 and
requests that the fitter (and the user) observes the provision with regard to recycling or reuse of the
packaging materials.
2.2 HANDLING
Should the appliance need to be handled, it must be done in its original packaging and must not be
stacked under any circumstances.
When moving it and in absence of packaging, the appliance should be carried and not pulled.
Do not move the equipment when in use.
2.3 UNPACKING
Before installation, remove the strapping from the appliance. The individual parts are not bolted down.
Remove plastic film from the stainless steel parts before heating.
2.4 INSTALLATION
Remove the equipment from its packaging.
Pull and unwind completly the supply cable of the appliance.
Leave a distance of 50 mm from any vertical wall.
