DWL-120 Driver Upgrade Procedure
Preparation for Upgrade
Make sure that the DWL-120 is rev. 1A. The 128-bit upgrade
requires the rev. 1A version of the DWL-120, and will not work with
prior versions of the hardware because of chipset limitations.
Download the DWL120_DRIVERS_v225.02.zip from
http://support.dlink.com/ to a local directory such as c:\temp.
Unzip DWL120_DRIVERS_v225.02.zip into a folder on the
computer’s hard drive such as c:\DWL-120.
Make sure that the DWL-120 is connected to the USB port and the
drivers are already installed in the computer.
NOTE: If the DWL-120 drivers have not been installed in the
computer, please refer to the quick installation guide for the proper
installation procedure.

Click on Start select Settings click on Control Panel double click
on System select the Device Manager Tab
Select the “D-LINK DWL-120
WIRELESS USB ADAPTER” in
Network adapters
Click on Properties
Select the Driver Tab
Click on Update Driver…

Select “Search for a better driver
… (Recommended)”
Click Next
Select “Specify a location
Click on Browse and select the
folder where the drivers were
unzipped i.e. C:\DWL-120
Click Next
