QUICK START
Before beginning, cover the play area to prevent water damage.
Insert the doll’s body in cold
water to see it change color.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Because all children’s hair is not identical, glitter hair gel results may vary. Prior to fully using this product, it is
advised that you test the mixture by applying it to a small portion of hair in an inconspicuous area, allowing it to air
dry, then washing the hair. Several washings may be required to ensure the desired result of complete color removal.
1. Wet your doll’s hair completely with water and lather in a little
shampoo. Optionally, you can also add a little conditioner.
(Shampoo and conditioner are not included). Work in with your
ngers or comb through the hair.
2. Rinse it o. Then, allow the hair to dry completely before
brushing and styling.
(DO NOT USE HOT WATER.)
The doll has a light coating of gel in the hair. If you would like
to style the doll’s hair, ask an adult or under adult supervision
follow the steps below to remove the gel. Please note that the
doll’s hair will not appear the same after washing.

Before beginning:
1. Rinse the doll’s hair with water and thoroughly air dry to remove the
shaping gel from your doll’s hair.
2. Cover the play area and put a protective layer over your clothing to
prevent possible damage.
3. Remove any protective seals over the glitter hair gel bottle before use.
STANDING THE DOLL
To place the doll in a standing
position, ip up each side of the
tail. Adjust the doll’s body as
needed to try to balance her.

• For best results, use ice water at approximately 32˚F (0˚C) for cold color change.
• If color change does not work properly or quickly, the temperature of the doll may be too close to
the temperature of the water.
• Color change temperatures may vary according to weather conditions.
• Extreme weather conditions may cause the color change pattern to appear upon arrival. To return it to its
original color, place the doll in a room temperature area at approximately 68–77 °F (20–25 °C).
• Do not place the doll in extremely hot water.
• The color-change effect of the doll has a lengthy, but limited lifespan.
• Do not store the dolls in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to sunlight may deactivate color change feature.
• Thoroughly drain the doll on a dry towel in a well-ventilated area after use and before storing.
• Air dry the doll only. Do not place in the dryer or subject to excessive heat.
• Use a dry towel to dry off the hair and allow it to air dry. Hair will not appear the same after it gets wet.
• Do not subject doll’s hair to very high heat in any manner, as it will irreparably damage the hair.
• The glitter hair gel included in this playset are to be used ONLY on the head hair or the doll included. Not
recommended for use on any other type of doll.
• Color transfer from pigments may occur. Wash hands thoroughly before and after use.
• Glitter hair gel may damage or stain certain fabrics, carpeting, wood finishes or other porous and
polished surfaces. Protect or cover any play surface before using.
• Keep glitter hair gel away from clothing and other surfaces, as pigment transfer may occur.
• Wear a protective layer over your clothing to prevent possible color transfer.
• Remove cosmetics from your hair and the doll’s hair with water. In case any color is left on the hair after
rinsing with water, wash with mild shampoo to remove.
• Glitter hair gel is for decoration only.
• Always close the cap on the glitter hair gel after use to prevent it from drying out easily.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WARNING
• Do not use glitter hair gel on eyelashes or eyes. Cosmetics should be used on head hair ONLY or the hair of a doll.
• AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES, MOUTH AND FACE. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of
water and seek medical advice if necessary. Cosmetics are for external use only.
• Do not ingest. If swallowed, wash out mouth with water and drink some fresh water. Do not induce vomiting.
Seek immediate medical advice.
• These cosmetics are laboratory tested and safe for use as recommended. As with all cosmetics, some individual
skin types may experience minor skin irritation. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician if necessary.
• USE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. Adult supervision is required when children are playing with water.
• Use as directed in these instructions.

Use the applicator brush to apply
glitter hair gel to sections of your
doll’s or your hair. Use the included
hair pins to style the doll’s hair.
NOTE: Your doll is articulated, but the
knee joint will need to be loosened.
To loosen the knee joint, use slight
force to pull the leg forward until the
knee clicks. Then, push the leg back
and it will click again.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Color change reveal may take some time. Allow the doll to sit in the water until it changes color.
• If submerging the doll in water, take note that the hair will not appear the same after it gets wet.
Outfits between Mermaze Mermaidz™ dolls
(not included) may be interchangeable. To
make it easier to dress or undress the doll,
remove the hands. When removing the
hands, pinch the wrists’ joints and gently pull.
