How long is the Hue outdoor lightstrip?

The Hue outdoor lightstrip is available in two sizes: two metres (6.5 feet) and five metres

(16.4 ft). You cannot extend the outdoor lightstrip.

What do I need to set up the Hue outdoor lightstrip?

Like all outdoor Philips Hue lights, the Hue outdoor lightstrip requires a Hue Bridge and the Hue

app to function.

Is the Hue outdoor lightstrip easy to install?

You can easily install the outdoor lightstrip without the help of an

electrician. The outdoor lightstrip is bendable and, while the lightstrip itself cannot be

extended, the power cable can be extended by connecting 5-metre extensions (sold separately).

Is a power supply unit included with the Hue outdoor lightstrtip?

Yes. The outdoor lightstrip includes a power supply unit.

How do I change the colour and brightness of the Hue outdoor lightstrip?

You can control the brightness and colour of the Hue outdoor lightstrip, as well as customise its

settings, with the Hue app.

How close does the Hue outdoor lightstrip need to be to my Hue Bridge?

If the Hue outdoor lightstrip is your only Philips Hue light, it needs to be within 10 metres (32

feet) of the Hue Bridge. If you have more lights in your smart lighting system, the Hue

outdoor lightstrip needs to be within at least 10 metres (32 feet) of one of your other Philips Hue

lights.
