ARCANE WATERPROOF 5
FEATURE DETAILS & INSTRUCTIONS
ROLL TOP CLOSURE
18 L | 25 L
The roll top closure is essential to achieving an IPX4 splash-resistant seal.
1 Compress the pack to squeeze out any excess air from the main
compartment.
2 Gripping the top of the pack, pinch the opening together and begin rolling
the closure down.
+ A minimum of three tight rolls is required to achieve the IPX4 rating.
3 Locate the metal hook, which can be stowed in a discreet pocket, just
behind the top of the backpanel.
4 Use the metal hook and webbing to secure the rolled material, sealing the
pack and preventing the material from unrolling.
+ If you cannot get three rolls and/or hook the closure shut, you may
have overpacked the pack or retained too much air inside. Unroll the
closure to remove excess items and/or air from the pack before
reclosing.
FLAP CLOSURE
18 L | 25 L
For more casual use and ease of access, the roll top also works as a magnetic flap
closure, without rolling the pack shut. Please note, this style of closure is not as
waterproof as when it’s rolled closed.
REMOVABLE WEBBING HIPBELT
18 L | 25 L
Webbing hipbelt can be removed. Simply
unthread the webbing from the triglide
on either side of the pack body and store
for safe-keeping. The hipbelt can also be
buckled and tightened behind your back to
keep it out of the way while the pack is in use.
