CableCreation CD0738 is a bidirectional USB-C to DisplayPort cable that allows you to connect your Type-C host (graphics card, laptop, or PC) to your DisplayPort monitor or vice versa. Making sure you have updated your graphics card driver to the latest version.
Contact with your graphics card manufacture for more supports if necessary.
1.2
Make the Connection stable and secure.
1.2.1 When you connect your DisplayPort to your graphics card, make sure you have
started your Windows 10/11 OS successfully, you can just connect one monitor, and
try to connect this DisplayPort to Type C adapter to check if this adapter can work or
not.
1.2.2 When you just want to remove the adapter, feel free to press the latch to make
sure you can remove the DisplayPort male connector easily, or your DisplayPort
female port probably was damaged.
1.3 If you just connect one monitor from your PC to your Type C monitor, please be
more patient, if the type c monitor could not work, feel free to restart your PC or
reconnect the type c monitor again. Sometimes you probably need to turn over your
type c connector to try again.
This is very important for your connection.
2, If you need to connect your Type C host (Graphics card, laptop or PC) to your
DisplayPort monitor, some DisplayPort monitors support MST function, check with
your DisplayPort monitors user manual or supports, make sure you have connected
the correct port. For example, some supports MST function DisplayPort monitor have
two kinds DisplayPort ports, one Is “DP in”, the other is “DP out, make sure you have
connected “DP in” to make sure you connect the correct port.
3, If you have a portable Type C monitor, or Some monitor with Type C(Thunderbolt)
port, make sure you had made Type C or Thunderbolt port as the correct input
source.
If you need to connect your Apple Studio Display, make sure connect the
Thunderbolt port.
Some type c monitor has several Type C ports, make sure connect the Thunderbolt
port, the other Type C ports were designed for connecting other USB C accessories.
For example, some LG monitor with Thunderbolt icon.
However some Type C monitors just have one Type C port, check with your Type C
monitors user manual or supplier for more supports, and make sure the Type C port
has video transfer function.
