Using Viera Cast
Viera Cast equipped TVs are supplied with a remote controller with a “Viera cast”
button which is used to access the internet services including Picasa and You Tube.
Switch on the TV and
press the “Viera Cast”
button. [The welcome
screen appears]
Press the “OK” Button
[The Viera Cast
HomeScreen appears]
Press “
cdef”
Buttons to select the
broadcast that you want
to open
Press the “OK” Button
to open the broadcast
Continue to follow the on-screen menus
to navigate through the selected
broadcast using “cdef” buttons to
select the item and the “OK” button to
open the selected item.
There are multiple pages of broadcasts. To change between the pages, use “more”
and “back”:

Using Viera Cast
The broadcasts can be moved to different positions, different pages, or removed
completely. This is done through “Customize Home Screen” in the “Setup & Help”
broadcast.

Highlight the broadcast
in the list using “cd”.
Press “OK” to remove the
tick and remove the item
from the HomeScreen
** Setup and Help cannot
be removed from the
HomeScreen.
To remove a broadcast from the HomeScreen
To add a broadcast back into the HomeScreen, follow the above instructions; press OK
to add the tick.

Arrow f to move the
cursor to the floors.
Highlight the broadcast
you wish to move.
Press “OK” to Select
the Broadcast.
Arrow to the new
position and Press OK.
If empty, the broadcast
will move. If there is
already a broadcast in
the new position, they
will swap positions.

the “Setup & Help”
screen.
Viera Cast Help
Viera Cast now contains a Help section.
Press “cdef”
Buttons to select ESetup
& Help”.
Press “OK” to go into
the Setup Screen.

the Help Screen.

Favourites
Favourites can still be saved in some applications, such as YouTube and Picasa. The
favourites are not seen from the HomeScreen. Access the broadcast, then the
favourites will be seen.
Favourites on Eurosport have been removed.
New Applications
Dailymotion
Daily motion is a video sharing service from France that is similar to YouTube.
Q-Tom
Q-Tom is a “personalized music clip” service for Germany.
Q-Tom is not available in any countries outside Germany.
Bild.de
Bild.de is a German news broadcast, similar to Tagesschau. It is not possible to
change the language
