Universal Dimmer Switch
NEXA CMR-101
Featuring a unique universal single dimmer receiver that allows remote control of existing household dimmable LEDs,
dimmable energy-saving lamps (CFL/ESL), incandescent lamps and halogen lamps. Hassle free wiring and easy rotary dial
setup for adjusting the lowest brightness level.
Compatible with:
! Incandescent and halogen lamps (230V~) up to 200W
! Dimmable energy saving lamps (CFL/ESL) up to 24W
! Dimmable LEDs 230V 3- 24W
The universal dimmer receiver has a built-in 8 step rotary dial to adjust the lowest brightness according to the different
types of lamp(s) used.
To adjust to the lowest brightness, simply turn the rotary dial from 8 to 1.
Synchronising dimming level. (Different brands and wattage may vary the brightness level)
It is recommended to use the same brand of load at the same time.
To operate, the universal dimmer receiver must first be wired up.
Please refer to section Wiring” below.
1. Connect all loads first and switch the rotary dial to position 1.
2. Switch the rotary dial from 1 to 8 and the loads will turn ON automatically. (No need to use transmitter).
3. Alter the rotary dial from 8~1 to adjust to the lowest brightness.
4. Each time the dial is moved to the next number, the lamp will increase to 100% brightness then dim to the relevant
brightness (can achieve the full range of dimming).
Take LED lamps as an example.
Adjust the rotary dial from 8 to 7 (fig.1); if the LED lights up normally then 7 to 6 can be adjusted (fig.2), until the LED
flickers or turns OFF, then adjust back to the previous number.
For example, 7 to 6 (fig. 3). In this case, the rotary dial should be setup in ‘7’ allowing both LEDs to be dimmed at the
set up level.

B) Neutral AC 230V wire into terminal “N-in”
C) Load Live wire into terminal "out”
D) Load Neutral wire into terminal N"out”
E) Connect back mains power supply.
F) LED indicator turns ON and is ready for pairing.
Pairing
The universal dimmer receiver can pair with up to 6 different remote controls at any one time as it has a maximum of 6
