Using near-field communication

(NFC), amiibo can connect to

compatible software to open brand-

new ways to interact with your

favorite Nintendo games. For more

software title can be saved on an

amiibo at a time. In order to

create new game data on an

amiibo that has existing data from

another game, you must first

delete the existing game data. To

delete your game data, ope

on the HOME Menu and then

by multiple compatible games.

corrupted and can't be restored,

with people you know. If you

exchange friend codes with

strangers, there is a risk you

5Saving and Deleting Game Data

To delete save data, press and hold

Nintendo3DS logo is displayed after

starting the game.

◆ Be careful when deleting data.

Once deleted, it cannot be

recovered.

Data will be automatically saved at

various points during the game, such

as when a match ends.

On the Character Selection screen,

you can select a character to play as

and change equipment designs for

each sport.

Confirm character abilities, such as

power and speed.

Read an amiibo card.

A selected character can be

switched to a Star Character or a

Superstar Character.

◆ Once you get a Star Character

and a Superstar Character, you

can choose either one.

You can change equipment design

for each sport.

gained the respective character's

equipment (Pro Gear) via the shop

in Collection in the main menu.
