IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
• Please read all instructions before using this fan.
• Use fan only for intended use as described in instruction manual.
• Install fan only in strict adherence to these instructions. Failure to do so might
create a safety hazard or result in property damage.
• To protect against electrical shock do not place fan in window, immerse fan, plug
or cord into water or with spray liquids.
• Do not hang other objects from the fan. Doing so might create a safety hazard or
result in property damage.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another,
before putting on or taking off parts, cleaning.
• Unplug the fan and drape the cord up over the fan when not in use.
• Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
• Do not place fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating
appliance.
• Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or after the fan malfunctions, or has
been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by Accutek may cause hazards.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
• Always use of dry flat surface. Do not hang or mount fan on wall or ceiling.
• Do not operate without fan grills properly in place. Avoid contacting moving parts
• This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial or
industrial use.
• This fan has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. Never
connect the fan to any power source other than a 120 volt alternating current
polarized outlet.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
