MOUSE SETTINGS
PLAY IT AFTER YOUR LIKINGS
The Mionix Naos 3200 software is stuffed with all
kinds of settings that comes handy for any gamer.
The following pages will describe each setting and
how to use it properly.
The first that you meet is the regular windows
pointer settings together with the button configu-
ration menus. By default, button 6 and 7 is assig-
ned to dpi step up and down and the mouse commu-
nicates with the USB port at 500 Hz.
The 7 buttons on the mouse are all programmable.
Assign a single key stroke, mouse command or ma-
cro directly to one of the buttons with the softwa-
re.You will also find pre-configured commands such
as in-game profile switch, scroll up and down and
in-game dpi switch in the button assignment menu.
IMPORTANT: When you change a setting, do not forget to press the "apply" button to save the new settings.
The settings is saved after a few seconds when the LED-lights stops blinking. When you are done, press "Ok"
and the software will automatically minimize to the tray icon. To Minimize without saving your new settings,
press "Cancel".

When you click on a button a dropdown menu shows up. To assign any of
the commands, choose one from the menu and then press the "apply" but-
ton. The default commands and the macro assignment is separated from
the main menu to make the configuration easier.
The button assign menu also has some additional commands and a single
key stroke can be binded directly from the drop down menu to one of the
buttons. Choose the "Single key assign..." from the menu, insert the key
stroke you want to bind in the text field and press the "Ok" button.

MOUSE SETTINGS
DOUBLE CLICK
The Double click setting determines the response of the dou-
ble click in Windows. Slow in this case means that the mouse
accepts longer interval between the clicks and fast means a
shorter interval between the clicks.
SCROLL SPEED
This setting controls the amount of rows of each scroll step.
Choose from 1-6 steps or a whole page. Don't forget to press
the "apply" button to save the new settings to the mouse
memory.
POINTER ACCELERATION
With this setting the mouse movements can be accelerated.
The acceleration is ratio based and follows the sensitivity
settings. By default this function is disabled.

CUSTOM SETTINGS
DPI SETTINGS
I guess its no news that different game situations requires different
sensitivity. Assign different colors to the dpi steps and when you switch
between the steps in-game the different colors works as a indicator.
To change between the steps, mouse button 6 and 7 is set to dpi up and
down by default.
POINTER SPEED
The system mouse pointer can be set from 1 to 10. From default the
pointer sensitivity is set to 6. It is recommendable to use a value around
5-6 and then adjust the dpi sensitivity or in-game pointer sensitivity to
fit your unique gaming style.
POLLING RATE
The USB polling rate determines how often the mouse sends information
to your computer and it is measured in Hz. The default USB polling rate is
different from computer to computer but via the driver software you can
force the USB polling rate to report at your desired speed.
If the polling rate is set to 1000Hz, the mouse can send reports every 1
millisecond, 500 Hz is equal to every 2 milliseconds. Increasing the polling
rate will improve the tracking at the tradeoff of using more CPU capacity,
if you use a old computer make sure that the polling rate is not to high as
it can cause CPU spikes.
To change the polling rate, click on the desired update frequence and
press the Apply button
