1. Determine the locaon for installaon of the angle sill faucet or
hose bibb. Be sure there is adequate work area on the interior of the
structure for securing the valve to the waterline.
2. PRIER angle sill faucets and hose bibbs are designed for installaon
with the handle in the “up” posion and the hose threads poinng in
the “down” posion.
3. Bore a 1” diameter hole through the wall in the desired posion. Feed
the supply line through the opening for installaon onto the angle sill
faucet or hose bibb.
4. If planning to solder the angle sill faucet or hose bibb to the supply
piping, the operang stem needs to be in the full open posion before
applying heat to the valve. Heang the valve may damage the sealing
surfaces on the stem of the angle sill faucet or hose bibb.
5. Flush all foreign parcles from the water line before connecng
the valve. Foreign parcles may clog the vacuum breaker/backow
preventor causing it to fail.
6. Secure the angle sill faucet or hose bibb to the supply piping using the
desired method. Test the installaon for leakage.
7. Secure the angle sill faucet to the structure using appropriate rust
resistant fasteners.
Rough-In Dimensions
Operation:
The operaon of a PRIER angle sill faucet
or hose bibb is simple. To open the valve,
turn the operator counterclockwise.
To close the valve, turn the operator
clockwise.
Do not overturn when opening or closing
the valve!
Maintenance:
PRIER angle sill faucets and hose bibbs
require no scheduled maintenance for
long wear life. The vacuum breaker/
backow preventor may require service
if there are suspended solids in the water
as they may clog the apparatus.
