IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.
4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.
6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.
7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.
8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
TUV Standard: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a
person who is responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
Read these instructions:
1. Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all various accessories carefully.
2. The use of attachments or other accessories which are not supplied with the appliance are not recommended. This
could result into electrical shock or damage to the appliance.
3. Never touch the beater, dough hook while in use.
4. Do not allow long hair, scarves to hang down over the accessories while operating.
Instruction for use:
1. Insert the beaters or dough hooks until they are locked into place. Always insert the accessory equipped with a
toothed crown into the opening indicated on the appliance by a crown which is similarly toothed. Plug in the
appliance into the mains supply.
2. Plunge the beaters or hooks into the container and start the appliance by turning the control knob to the right. Turn
the control knob to the right in position “1 ~ 5”. Depending on the model, the appliance may be equipped with a turbo
button, which allows you instant access to the full power of your appliance.
3. When you have finished using it, reset the control knob to position “0”. Unplug the appliance and eject the beaters or
dough hooks by pushing the eject handle. (Fig.5) & (Fig.6)
4. Hand mixer with bowl SF-3911: Place the bowl in the stand then follow step 2 & 3.
CAUTION:
When using the beater or dough hooks, do not operate for more than five minutes at one time. After five minutes of
continuous use, allow few minutes rest before next use.
Mixing Guide:
This is a good starting speed for bulk and dry foods such as flour, butter and potatoes.
Best speed to start liquid ingredients for mixing salad dressings.
For mixing cakes and quick breads.
For creaming butter and sugar, beating uncooked candy, desserts, etc.
For beating eggs, cooked icings, whipping potatoes, whipping cream, etc.
