Eaton PORTFOLIO HA3MR is a luminaire that can be used for general lighting purposes. It has a plaster ring that can be adjusted to be flush with the finished ceiling line. The fixture can be installed in ceilings using 1/2” electrical conduit, 3/4” channel, 1-1/2” channel, 1/8” x 1/2” bar stock, or T-bar mounting rails. The fixture can be wired for 120V or 277V input. It comes with a transformer that needs to be installed on the mounting bracket before the fixture is installed in the ceiling. The fixture can be relamped from above or below the ceiling.

INSTALLATION
Fixture
1. Open fixture top and remove transformer from packing
material.
2. Install transformer on mounting bracket. (Figure 1.) Slide
unsleeved wires through slot in J-box cover.
3. Install fixture into ceiling using 1/2” electrical conduit,
3/4” channel, 1-1/2” channel, 1/8” x 1/2” bar stock,
or T-bar mounting rails (by others) by inserting them
through hanger bar brackets at both sides.
4. Adjust height of fixture so that the plaster ring is flush
with finish ceiling line.
WARNING
This fixture as shipped is wired for 120V input. It can
be operated at 277V input by rewiring transformer in
junction box. (Figure 2.)
5. Connect supply wires to leads in junction box in
accordance with local electrical codes or N.E.C.

1. Insert lamp into lampholder bracket/lens assembly.
2. Determine if relamping is to be done from below or
above the ceiling. Install lamp and lens assembly in
proper position. (Figure 3. and Figure 4.)

INSTALLATION
Luminaire
1. Ouvrez le sommet du luminaire et retirez le
transformateur de son emballage.
2. Installez le transformateur sur le support de montage
(Figure1.). Glissez les câbles par les fentes dans la
boîte de jonction.
3. Installez le luminaire dans le plafond avec un conduit
électrique de 1,27cm (1/2 po), un canal de 1,9cm
(3/4 po), un canal de 3,8cm (1-1/2 po), des barres
0,3 cm x 1,27 cm (1/8 po x 1/2 po) ou des rails de
montage en T (fournis par des tiers) en les insérant
aux deux extrémités dans des supports de barre de
suspension.
4. Ajustez la taille du luminaire afin que l'anneau à plâtre
soit affleurant de la ligne de fin du plafond.
AVERTISSEMENT
À la livraison, ce luminaire est câblé pour une entrée
de 120 V. Il peut être utilisé avec une entrée de 277 V en
modifiant le câblage du transformateur dans la boîte de
jonction (Figure 2.).

5. Connectez les fils d'alimentation aux fils centraux
dans la boîte de jonction conformément aux codes de
l'électricité locaux ou à la N.E.C.

1. Insérez l'ampoule dans le support de douille/
assemblage lentille.
2. Déterminez si le remplacement de l'ampoule devra être
effectué par-dessous ou par-dessus le plafond. Installez
l'ampoule et l'assemblage lentille en bonne position
(Figure 3. et Figure 4.).

IMPORTANTE: Lea atentamente antes de instalar la

PRECAUCIÓN

INSTALACIÓN
Luminaria
1. Abra la tapa de la luminaria y extraiga el transformador
del material de embalaje.
2. Instale el transformador en el soporte de montaje.
(Figura 1.) Deslice los cables no apantallados a través
de la ranura en la cubierta de la caja de derivación.
3. Instale la luminaria en la cavidad del techo utilizando
un conducto eléctrico de 1/2” (13 mm), un canal de
3/4” (19 mm) o de 1-1/2” (38 mm), una barra de metal
de 1/8” x 1/2” (3 mm x 13 mm) o sujetadores de
barra en T como carriles de montaje (de otras marcas),
insertándolos a través de los soportes de suspensión
directos a ambos lados.
4. Ajuste la altura de la luminaria para que el anillo de yeso
quede a ras con la línea del techo acabado.
ADVERTENCIA
Esta luminaria viene cableada para una entrada de 120
V. Puede operarse en la entrada de 277 V, si vuelve a
conectar el transformador en la caja de derivación.

5. Conecte los cables de alimentación con los terminales
en la caja de derivación, de acuerdo con los códigos
eléctricos locales o el Código Eléctrico Nacional (NEC).
Lámpara
1. Inserte la lámpara en el soporte del portalámpara/
unidad de la lente.
2. Determine si la sustitución de lámparas se hará desde
abajo o desde arriba del techo. Coloque la lámpara y
la unidad de la lente en la posición correspondiente.
