Air-Bag Operation Confirmation Procedure
RECLINIG "DOWN" and LEG "DOWN" buttons

Turn ON the POWER switch at the rear of the main body while simultaneously pressing the
RECLINING "DOWN" and LEG "DOWN" buttons on the control.
(This operation should be started with the POWER switch turned OFF).
When the examination mode is started up, both a back rest and a foot rest move slightly and
come to a stop.
1, Start-up of Examination Mode
Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control.
Check if the air-bag inflates sequentially as shown below.
* If there are any problems, check air leakage, breakage of air hoses, and the air-bags.
To remove the examination mode, turn OFF the POWER switch.

Motor Operation Confirmation Procedure
PROGRAM "STRETCH" button

Turn ON the POWER switch at the rear of the main body while simultaneously pressing the
RECLINING "DOWN" and LEG "DOWN" buttons on the control.
(This operation should be started with the POWER switch turned OFF).
When the examination mode is started up, both a back rest and a foot rest move slightly and
come to a stop.
1, Start-up of Examination Mode
Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control.
Press the PROGRAM "STRETCH" button on the control.
Reclinning motor (foot rest/back rest) repeat the expansion and contraction.
Whenever the PROGRAM "STRETCH" button is pushed, the operation starts and stops
alternately.
* After you exchanged the reclining motor or PCB, confirm the movement by this function.
When there is an abnormality, find out the problem and repair.
As for this function, the air pump and the valve also move at the same time.
To remove the examination mode, turn OFF the POWER switch.

Replacement Procedure
(1)
Replacement of Arm Rest Assembly
and Cover (Arm Rest Lower) Right
1, Remove two arm rest set screws on the back
of main body. Photo-1
5, Remove two arm rest set screws, disconnect
the connector between the arm rest (right)
and main body and take off the arm rest
(right). Photo-3
* In case of removing the arm rest set
screws, pay attention to the arm rest
falling down from the main body.
2, Lay down the main body with the back rest
underneath, a foot rest becomes the top.

3, Lift up the foot rest and bind the reclining
motor (foot rest) and the frame (foot rest)
with a string tightly. Photo-2
4, Remove two arm rest set screws and take
off the arm rest (left). Photo-2
* In case of removing the arm rest set
screws, pay attention to the arm rest
falling down from the main body.
6, Take off three ornament (cover screw).

7, Remove three cover (arm rest lower) right
set screws and take off the cover (arm rest

Replacement Procedure
(2) Replacement of PCB (Main)
1, Remove three cover (back cover) set screws
and take off the cover (back cover).

2, Lay down the main body with the back rest
underneath, a foot rest becomes the top.

3, Lift up the foot rest and bind the reclining
motor (foot rest) and the frame (foot rest)
with a string tightly. Photo-2
4, Remove seven cover (front) set screws and
take off the cover (front upper) and the
cover (front lower). Photo-2
5, Remove one cover (PCB) set screw and take
off the cover (PCB). Photo-5
6, Disconnect connectors connected to the
PCB (main). Photo-6
7, Unfix nine stoppers (PCB) from the bottom
side of the main body and take off the PCB
(main). Photo-6
(3) Replacement of Valve
1, Take off the cover (back cover) and the arm
rest (right). Photo-1,2,3
2, Take off the cover (front upper), the cover
(front lower), the cover (arm rest lower)
right and the cover (PCB).

3, Disconnect each air hose. Photo-7
*When taking off the air hoses, indicate a
mark such as number, symbol.
(Exercise care so as not to make a
mistake in connecting the hoses.)
4, Remove the cord processing of the valve
assembly. Photo-7
5, Remove two cover (air pump) set screws,
take off latches of libs at the rear of the
cover (air pump) and take off the cover
(air pump). Photo-7
6, Remove two valve set screws and take off
the valve assembly. Photo-7

(4) Replacement of Air Pump and
PCB (Transformer)
1, Take off the cover (back cover) and the arm
rest (right). Photo-1,2,3
2, Take off the cover (front upper), the cover
(front lower) and the cover (arm rest lower)
right.

3, Take off the cover (PCB) and the cover (air

4, Take off the cord processing of an air pump.

5, Remove four fixing rubbers of the air pump
and take off the air pump. Photo-8
(5) Replacement of PCB (Transformer)
* HIGH Voltage only
1, Take off the cord processing of a PCB
(transformer). Photo-8
2, Unfix five stoppers (PCB) from the bottom
side of the main body and take off the PCB
(transformer). Photo-8
(6) Replacement of Reclining Motor
1, Take off the cover (back cover) and the arm
rest (left/right). Photo-1,2,3
2, Take off the cover (front upper), the cover
(front lower) and the cover (arm rest lower)
right. Photo-2,4
3, Remove two cover assembly (back rest) set
screws on the back of foot rest. Photo-9
4, Unzip the fastener of the cover assembly
(back rest) and uncover the part of foot rest
of cover assembly (back rest). Photo-9
5, Disconnect each cord processing and cords.

6, Lay down the main body with its left side
facing downward. Photo-10
7, Each reclining motor is fixed at two places
on both ends. Therefore, remove E rings
on both ends and pull out fixing pins.

(7) Replacement of Control
1, Take off the arm rest (right). Photo-1,2,3
2, Remove two control set screws on the rear
of a stay (control), disconnect a connector
connected to the PCB (control) and take off
the control. Photo-11,12
3, Remove three case (control lower) set
screws, take off latches of two libs and take
off the case (control lower). Photo-11
4, Remove two PCB (control) set screws and
take off the PCB (control). Photo-13
5, Remove eleven cover (arm rest) right set
screws and take off the cover (arm rest)

6, Disconnect the processing of connector
assembly B. Photo-14
7, Remove eight stay (arm rest front / rear)
right set screws and take off the part of arm
rest (upper). Photo-14
8, Remove two stay (control) set screws and
take off the stay (control). Photo-11

(8) Replacement of Power Switch and
Current Fuse
1, Open a fuse cover of current fuse and take
out a current fuse. Photo-16,17
2, Take off the cover (back cover). Photo-1
3, Take off the cover (front upper), the cover
(front lower) and the cover (PCB).
