Panel description
1. Display (power LED) and IR receiver
2. DC power input.
3. Analogue A/V output (adapter cable available).
4. HDMI port.
5. Ethernet port.
6. S/PDIF optical output. Connect an S/PDIF optical digital cable between this output and an
audio amplifier.
7. USB port. Use for external storage media such as a hard drive or USB flash drive.
You can also update software and program lists using this connection.
Note: your external storage media must be formatted with FAT32.
Hardware setup procedure
Preparation for installation:
Unpack the box and check the supplied items
Prepare the television set and power supply jack
Place the unit beside the TV set
Caution:
a) Unplug the unit before making any physical connection to other equipment.
Also ensure that AC power is disconnected from other equipment.
b) The connections of all video/audio cables supplied are colour-coded to the jacks of
related equipment. When connecting make sure that the colours are matched.
c) Proper physical connections are important - ensure you insert the plug completely.
The power adapter must be connected last.
Ensure that your TV is set to the correct input channel depending on your connection
type, e.g. AV1, AV2, HDMI.
Use the TV remote control to select the TV input channel connected to the box.
Refer to your TV user guide or technical helpline if you are unable to select the input
channel.
