RESERVOIR
Before each use, the water tank MUST BE FILLED with water, up to the maximum level, (if
you shake the tank when empty, the level detection device will make a noise).
- To do this, remove the tank from its housing and fill it only with water.
Put the tank back in place, and push it as far as possible until it CLICKS INTO PLACE.
Important: Should your tap water be hard, we recommend using soft bottled water available
from you usual supplier.
We do not recommend using demineralised water, as it is to be used with foodstuffs.
Every time you finish cooking, IMPERATIVELY pull the tank out and empty it to prevent any
water stagnating. Then wipe away any drops of water you may find on the tank holder.
Your oven is equipped:
- A perforated dish so that any
condensation does not remain in
contact with foodstuffs,
- with a tray to collect water from
condensation.
- a removable stainless steel oven shelf,
- a removable steam diffuser for easy cleaning.
Dishes can be washed in your washing-up machine.

As a specialist, you alone are competent to install and connect up De Dietrich
appliances.
Our guarantee therefore applies only and exclusively to appliances which have been
installed and connected up by you in accordance with the provisions of current
regulations.

Dietrich company from any liability.

pletely before attaching the conductors to the terminals. The earth connector must be
attached to the earth terminal of the appliance.
If you want a permanent connection for your oven, you will require a double pole switch with
gaps of at least 3 mm between contacts.
Otherwise you must ensure the plug of the oven is accessible at all times when the oven is
in its housing.

DISCOVERING THE REAL TASTE OF FOOD.
Cooking takes place at normal atmospheric pressure at 100ºC. This enables food to retain
its texture, moistness, flavour and colour - unlike cooking with a pressure cooker.
The water in the tank enters the oven via the slope at the bottom. It is transformed into
steam on coming into contact with a hot surface at the bottom of the oven. You do not need
to add water to your casserole (see recipe book). To give you REAL STEAM COOKING, your
oven is presented with a specially designed casserole dish.
For a dish made up of several vegetables that have different cooking times, you cooking will
be successful if you base your cooking time on the vegetable that takes longest to cook. In
this way you will economise both in time and in handling.
Switching the oven on
When the oven is first switched on, the display will show 12:00 and a symbol, indicting the
time needs setting, blinks.
SETTING THE CLOCK.
To set the time, press on the + and - controls. Keep your finger on the control until the right
time appears. Now press the SET control.
The figures will stop blinking but the two dots will continue to blink.

has been heard. If you attempt to open the door during cooking, your dish could be
affected and there will be a sudden increase in steam.

Onmiddellijk stomen
1) STOMEN :
