AUX 2
Si configurĂ© Ă lâinstallation, appuyez sur & simultanĂ©ment pour activer AUX 2.
Mode Valet chez soi

Si cette fonctionnalitĂ© est configurĂ©e Ă lâinstallation, elle permettra Ă lâutilisateur dâactiver Ă distance
un mode spĂ©cial oĂč les fonctions de dĂ©marrage Ă distance sont dĂ©sactivĂ©es : si le vĂ©hicule est
stationnĂ© Ă lâintĂ©rieur, ceci Ă©vitera les dĂ©marrages Ă distance accidentels causĂ©s par la
tĂ©lĂ©commande ou par un dĂ©clencheur externe. Si le vĂ©hicule est muni dâune transmission
manuelle, le systĂšme doit ĂȘtre mis en mode prĂȘt Ă dĂ©marrer afin dâentrer en mode Valet chez
soi

Remarque : Lorsque ce mode est activĂ©, le vĂ©hicule ne pourra pas ĂȘtre dĂ©marrĂ© Ă distance. Les
fonctions de lâalarme demeureront cependant actives.
Pour activer le mode Valet chez soi

1. Appuyez sur le bouton ou
.
2. En 3 secondes ou moins, appuyez simultanément sur les boutons et pour 3 sec.
3. Les feux de stationnent clignoteront une fois.
Pour quitter le mode Valet chez soi

x Tournez la clĂ© en position dâallumage (IGNITION ON / RUN).
Cette fonctionnalité signale une tentative de démarrage survenue lorsque le véhicule est en mode
Valet chez soi
MD
. Les feux de stationnement exécuteront la séquence suivante :
Ils sâallument puis sâĂ©teignent, puis clignotent deux fois, ils marquent une pause, puis clignotent
deux fois Ă nouveau.
Démarrage sécuritaire
Cette caractĂ©ristique du dĂ©marreur empĂȘchera les dĂ©marrages Ă distance accidentels, si, par
exemple, des enfants jouent avec la télécommande.
DĂ©marrage sĂ©curitaire activĂ© : Lorsque le dĂ©marrage sĂ©curitaire est activĂ© Ă lâinstallation,
lâutilisateur doit actionner la touche 2 fois en 3 secondes pour dĂ©marrer le vĂ©hicule Ă distance.
DĂ©marrage sĂ©curitaire spĂ©cial : Lorsque le DĂ©marrage sĂ©curitaire est activĂ© Ă lâinstallation,
lâutilisateur doit;
x Appuyer sur les touches & simultanément pour démarrer le véhicule à distance.
La sortie AUX 2 peut alors ĂȘtre actionnĂ©e par la touche .
Temps de marche du moteur
Si votre vĂ©hicule a un moteur Ă essence, votre systĂšme dâalarme peut ĂȘtre rĂ©glĂ© pour maintenir le
moteur en marche pendant 3, 15 ou 25 minutes (15 minutes par dĂ©faut). Si câest un moteur diĂ©sel,
le systĂšme peut ĂȘtre rĂ©glĂ© pour maintenir le moteur en marche pendant 8, 20 ou 30 minutes (20
minutes par défaut).
Mode Turbo
Si le mode Turbo est configurĂ© Ă lâinstallation, vous aurez la possibilitĂ© de laisser le
turbocompresseur de votre véhicule reposer lorsque vous le quittez : le Télédémarreur prendra le
vĂ©hicule en charge et le maintiendra en marche pendant 60 secondes (ou jusquâĂ ce que le moteur
soit éteint par la télécommande), puis éteindra le moteur.
Si votre vĂ©hicule est muni dâune transmission automatique, procĂ©dez comme suit pour faire
passer le véhicule en mode Turbo :
1. Alors que le moteur est en marche, relùchez la pédale de frein et appuyez sur la touche ,
ou de la tĂ©lĂ©commande jusquâĂ ce que les feux de stationnement sâallument.

Safe Start
This feature will eliminate accidental remote starts, e.g. when children are playing with the
transmitter.
Safe start enabled: If this feature is enabled, the user must press the button twice within
3 seconds to remote-start the vehicle.
Swap start: If this feature is enabled;
x Press and release & simultaneously to remote start the vehicle.
The AUX 2 output can be activated by pressing the button.
Engine Run Time
If you have a gas engine, your system can be programmed to run the engine for 3, 15, or 25
minutes (15 min. default). If you have a diesel engine, it can be programmed to run the engine for
8, 20, or 30 minutes (20 min. default).
Turbo Mode
If Turbo Mode is configured at installation, it will allow a turbocharger to idle down after the user
leaves the vehicle: the unit will take over the vehicle and keep it running for 60 seconds (or until it
is shut down by remote control), then shut down the engine.
If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, proceed as follows to set the system to Turbo Mode:
1. With the engine running, make sure to release the brake pedal and press the , or
button on the transmitter until the parking lights come ON.
Note: SmartStartâą can be setup to use the SmartStartâą icon to activate Turbo mode.
2. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch. The engine will continue running.
3. Exit the vehicle and close all doors, hood and trunk.
4. Press the button; this will lock the doors, arm the system alarm and confirm that the
vehicle is in Turbo Mode.
5. The engine will shut down after 60 seconds.
If your vehicle has a manual transmission, follow all steps of the Ready Mode routine (page-5) to
activate Turbo Mode, but at the last step;
x Press to lock the doors and have the engine shut down after 60 seconds;
The parking lights will flash 3 times and remain lit.
The alarm and starter kill will be armed.
x Press
to unlock the doors and have the engine shut down after 60 seconds;
The parking lights will flash 3 times and remain lit.
x Press to shut down the engine without affecting the doors.
Note: The vehicle will enter Ready Mode once the engine run time expires.
Siren Chirps
The siren will chirp to confirm the systemâs basic operations:
By default, when the doors are being locked the siren will give 1 chirp if none of the zones are
active.
If a zone is active as the doors are being locked, the siren will give 3 chirps.
When the doors are being unlocked, the siren will give 2 chirps if no intrusion was detected.
If an intrusion was detected, the siren will give 4 chirps as the doors are being unlocked.
The system can alternatively be set to: (must be configured by the installer)
Warning Mode (no chirp during lock/unlock â unless a zone is active when locking, in which case
there will be 3 chirps upon locking â or unless the alarm was triggered, in which case there will be
4 chirps when unlocking);
