REDCAT ACCESS PRESENTER SET UP
Attach Camera Mounting Shoe to the RCMB
bracket using the mounting hardware.
If desired, remove the table stand feet from the
Redcat Access.
Remove Camera Mounting Shoe from your camera tripod (not
included). Set up the tripod and adjust the legs so that the tripod is
stable and the Redcat Access, when attached, is approximately 6 - 7”
from the floor.
Insert the bracket/shoe assembly onto the tripod.
Then slide the Redcat Access onto the bracket as
shown.
If not using battery, plug power supply into Redcat access and
wrap the cord through the cable management slots to provide
strain relief. If using battery pack, simply press power button to
power on Redcat Access

10. Place the Flexmike into the cradle charger. The power button light will glow red and the Mic
status light will glow blue. When Flexmike is fully charged, the power button light on the mic
will change to green.

USING THE OPTIONAL MEDIA CONNECTOR AS A WIRELESS AUDIO LINK
5. Plug the micro USB end of the power cable into the power adapter. Plug the other end of the
cable into the micro USB port on the back of the Media Connector. Plug the USB1 into a wall
outlet.
6. When powered on, the blue LED will glow.
7. Plug your external audio equipment (for example, laptop), into one of the input jacks on the
back of the Media Connector labeled β€œAudio In” using a 3.5mm patch cable.
8. Adjust volume at the audio source. If necessary, further volume adjustment may be made
using the Audio In volume control on the front of the Media Connector.
9. If no Media Connector is present, you may connect an audio source using a 3.5mm patch cable
to the Audio In jack on the side of the Redcat.

USING THE FLEXMIKE
1. Remove microphone from charger and place the microphone around your neck. If not
using a lapel or earset, ensure the top of the microphone is at the collarbone. The boom
of the earset should be close to your mouth. The lapel mic should be clipped as high as
possible.
2. When using a lapel or earset microphone, plug the mic jack into the mic jack.
3. Press the power/mute button. The mic status will turn blue, indicating the
microphone is active.
4. Microphone volume may be adjusted at the microphone by using the Up/Down buttons
on the side of the Flexmike. It may also be adjusted by using the Microphone volume
knob on the front of the Media Connector.
