T4060 BIOS Flash
After downloading the self-extracting BIOS flash utility and the BIOS flash instructions
from the drivers section of the web site, follow the instructions below to flash your
system BIOS.
WARNING ! Interrupting, or powering off your system during the flashing process
could permanently damage your system.
1. Insert a blank floppy disk into the floppy disk drive, and click the OK button.
NOTE: If there are any files on this disk, they will be erased.
2. The files will now be extracted to the floppy disk in drive A:
3. When the extraction process has completed, leave the floppy in the floppy drive,
and restart the system.
4. A short flash utility will take place
5. When complete, you will see on the screen the DOS A> prompt.
6. At this point remove the floppy disk from the floppy drive, and restart the
system.
7. After you restart the system you will see a message on the screen that
states “CMOS Checksum Error - Defaults Loaded” “Press F1 to continue
or DEL to enter Setup”
8. At this point press the <F1> key to continue.
9. The system will then boot into Windows XP and you have now completed
the BIOS update process.
