4.
lnstallation
The following points must be observed when installing:
* Only an authorized and trained Cafe Elite personnel should attempt installing the
machine.
* The counter top or table must be capable of safely holding the 190 lb. machine and
have the access holes as shown below (Figure A).
* Allow a minimum of 2” clearance on sides and back to walls or other appliances,
allow an additional 6” on the side for a milk cooler when used.
*Allow a minimum height between the counter top and area above for clearance to
load the been containers.
* Be sure to level the unit by placing a
spirit level on the drip tray surface and
adjusting the feet for proper leveling of
the machine.
* A 3-1/2” cut-out is required (A) for inlet
and drain lines plus the power plug and
cord pass through this cut-out.
* A second 3-1/2” cut-out is needed only
when a remote coffee cake receptacle
is used! (Special option, not used for a
regular installation!)
Water Connection
I
Counter Cutouts
* The water inlet connection on the ma-
chine and inlet hose use a European
straight pipe thread which uses a flat
sealing washer instead of the USA type
tapered thread. Use Teflon tape on the
male end of the supply line. Always
check for leaks after connecting the
hoses to the fittings.
Both “A” and “B” holes are
3-1/2” Diameter, all installations
use “A”, only custom installa-
tions that use a remote cake
container use “B”!
Drain line
* Be sure that the drain hose has enough slope for easy water flow into the main drain
stand pipe or floor drain.
An air gap (vacuum break) MUST be present for correct draining of the drain hose.
