Omega 5830 and 5831 Digital Precision Thermistor Thermometers are portable instruments designed to measure and display up to five temperature readings from —30 to 100 °C (-22 to 212 °F)

The Omega 5830 and 5831 read thermistor temperature probes and display the readings on a five-digit liquid-crystal display on the front panel. Each thermistor probe plugs into its own jack in the back of the instrument and is represented by a front panel light and a labeled membrane key beneath the liquid-crystal temperature display.
