WARNING! Read and understand all instructions before using this tool. Failure to follow all
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or personal injury. Keep this manual for
the safety warnings and precautions, operating, inspection and maintenance instructions.
When using this tool, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
personal injury and/or damage to the equipment. Note that when this manual refers to a
part number, it refers to the parts list included.

1. Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
2. Operate in a safe work environment. Do not use in damp or wet locations. Do not expose to rain. Do not use in
the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
3. Keep children, bystanders and visitors away from the work area. Distraction can cause you to lose control.
Do not let them handle tools, hoses or extension cords. No one should be in the work area if they are not
wearing suitable protective equipment.
4. Store unused equipment. When not in use, tools must be stored in a dry location to prevent rust. Always lock
up tools and keep them out of reach of children.

1. Use eye, face, head, breathing and ear protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles, which
must provide both frontal and side protection. Protect your hands with suitable gloves. Wear a full-face shield
if your work creates metal filings or wood chips. Protect your head from falling objects by wearing a hard hat.
Wear an ANSI approved dust mask or respirator when working around metal, wood and chemical dusts and
mists. Wear ANSI approved earplugs.
2. Do not over reach; keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enables better
control of the tool in unexpected situations.
3. Dress properly, wear protective equipment. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in
moving parts. Tie back long hair. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothes and non-skid footwear are
recommended when working.
4. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use your common sense. Do not operate any machine or tool when
you are tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications.
5. Use clamps or other practical ways to secure and support the work piece to a stable platform. Holding the
work piece by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.

1. Use the right tool for the job. Do not attempt to force a small tool or attachment to do the work of
a larger industrial tool. The tool will perform better and more safely at the task for which it was
intended. Do not modify this tool or use for a purpose for which it was not designed.
2. Securely hold this tool using both hands. Using tools with only one hand can result in loss of control.
3. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools clean, sharp and in good condition for a better and safer
performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Inspect tool fittings,
alignment and hoses periodically and, if damaged, have them repaired by an authorized technician
or replaced. The handles must be kept clean, dry and free from oil and grease at all times. A properly
maintained tool reduces the risk of binding and is easier to control. Sharp tools are safer than tools
which have become dull because you do not have to apply excessive amounts of force to make your
cuts. Applying excessive force can lead to slips and damage to your work or personal injury.
4. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches. Check that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the
tool or machine before connecting it. A wrench or key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool
increases the risk of personal injury.
5. Avoid unintentional starts. Be sure that the throttle/ignition switch is in neutral or OFF position when
not in use and before connecting it to any power/air source. Do not carry the tool with fingers near or
on the switch.
6. Only use the lubricants supplied with the tool or specified by the manufacturer. Other lubricants may
not be suitable and may damage the tool or even make the tool explode.
7. When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the steel parts to avoid rust.
8. Maintain label and name plate on the tool. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing,
contact Princess Auto for a replacement.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1. Disconnect power supply. Disconnect from power supply when not in use, before cleaning, servicing or
changing any parts or accessories.
2. Protect yourself against electric shocks when working on electrical equipment. Avoid body contact with
grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cooking stoves and refrigerators. There is an increased
chance of electrical shock if your body is grounded.
3. Double insulated tools are equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If
it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install a polarized outlet. Do not change the plug
in any way. Double insulation eliminates the need for a three wire grounded power cord and grounded
power supply system.
4. Grounded tools must be plugged into an outlet properly installed and grounded in accordance with all
codes and ordinances. Never remove the grounding prong or modify the plug in any way. Do not use
any adapter plugs. Check with a qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is
properly grounded. If the tool should electronically malfunction or break down, grounding provides a
low resistance path to carry electricity away from the user.
5. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk
of electric shock.
6. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tools or pull the plug from an outlet. Keep cord
away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Do not operate this tool if the power cord is frayed
or damaged. Replace damaged cords immediately. Damaged cords increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not modify the plug in any way.
7. When operating a power tool outside, use an outdoor extension cord marked “W-A” or “W”. These
cords are rated for outdoor use and reduce the risk of electric shock. Use in conjunction with a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable,
the use of a GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock. It is recommended that the GFCI should have a
rated residual current of
30 mA or less.
8. Avoid using an unnecessarily long extension cord. Choose a cord that is appropriate for the situation,
as a cord that is too long and running across the floor can be more dangerous than helpful. Using a
cord that is too long or too thin could damage the tool. Unroll the cord completely to prevent it from
overheating.
9. Place the electrical cord in a position that prevents it from coming into contact with the tool and from
getting caught into the work piece. The cord should always stay behind the tool.

POLISHING/WAXING INSTRUCTIONS (READ
BEFORE USING)
1.1 The applicator bonnet provided with this product is to apply
wax and related chemicals only. Do not use it to remove wax
or buff and polish a waxed surface even if the bonnet has
been thoroughly washed. Otherwise, paint damage may occur.
Use the clean synthetic wool polishing bonnet for waxing and
polishing only.
1.2 Before you begin, make sure your vehicle is clean and dry. Your
work area should also be dry.
1.3 Your waxer/polisher comes with 2 bonnets, one for applying the
polish to the surface and the other for waxing the surface.
FOR WAXING
2.1 Place a clean application bonnet securely on the pad as shown
(Fig. 1)
2.2 Paste Wax: spread about a heaping teaspoon of wax evenly
over the entire surface of the application bonnet. (Fog. 2). DO
NOT apply the polish directly to the surface to be polished.
(Most polishes are either in paste or liquid form. Before using
polish, read all directions on the appropriate applications and
use accordingly.)
2.3 Liquid Cleaner/Glaze/Wax: apply a small circle of Liquid
Cleaner/Glaze/Wax (about the size of a half dollar) on the center
of the application bonnet, followed by two more rings, each
slightly larger than the previous one. (Fig. 3) DO NOT apply
directly to the surface to be polished.
2.4 After the first application, the bonnet will not absorb as much
polish. Use half the polish quantity as stated above.
2.5 Always start and stop the polisher on or against the surface to
be polished (Fig. 4). Hold the power cord over your shoulder
and do flat surfaces first, roof, hood and trunk. Cover areas
quickly with broad, sweeping strokes in a criss-cross pattern.
DO NOT press down, the polisher's action does the work, NOT
pressure!
2.6 In hard-to-reach surfaces like under the bumper, around the
door handle, etc. apply wax by hand.
2.7 The most common error is applying too much WAX or CLeaner/
Glaze. If the bonnet absorbs too much chemical, it will not last
long. Polishing will become more difficult and take longer.
2.8 If the bonnet continually comes off the pad, you may be using
too much Wax or Clean/Glaze.
FOR POLISHING
3.1 Place a clean polishing bonnet on the pad as shown (Fig. 1).
3.2 Remove chemicals (Wax or Cleaner/Glaze) in the same order
they were applied.
3.3 Use long, sweeping strokes in a criss-cross pattern.
3.4 DO NOT press down. Let the polisher do the work.
3.5 If the wax seems difficult to buff, you may have applied too
much wax.
3.6 Remove the polishing bonnet and hand buff all hard-to-reach
areas.
3.7 NEVER use polishing bonnets for applying Wax or Cleaner/
Glaze.

MAINTENANCE
1. Bonnets can be machine-washed in cold water with a small amount of detergent on a short wash cycle.
Machine dry at medium heat. However, hand washing and drying is recommended for longer bonnet life.
2. To prolong pad life and shape, always store polisher with pad face up.
3. Remove bonnet from the pad when polisher is not in use so pad can dry out and retain its original shape.
4. Badly oxidized paint may require several applications. Do not use abrasive compounds.
5. The most common error is applying too much wax and cleaner/glaze. If pad becomes saturated, polishing will
be more difficult and take longer. It may also reduce pad life.
6. If the bonnet continually comes off the pad, you may have used too much wax, cleaner or glaze.
7. If wax seems difficult to buff, you may have used too much wax.
8. Use only mild soap and a damp sponge to clean polisher. Do not immerse any part in liquid. If polisher needs
repair, use only identical replacement parts.
