Hello! I've reviewed the user manual for the INTERMATIC MultiWave PE653RC Pool and Spa Control System. Service Mode allows you to manually turn the lter pump ON or OFF, without the use of a controller, by

pushing the appropriate buttons on the PE653 receiver. When turning a pump ON, a countdown period

of 1,2,3,4 or 5 hours is set that will override the schedule, ensuring proper mixing of chemicals. At the

end of the user-dened period, the PE653 will turn the pump OFF and resume the normal programmed

schedule.

To Activate Service Mode:

Press and hold button #1 on the PE653 receiver until the indicator light starts blinking for Circuit 1.

Then, press button 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 to set the duration, in hours, you want the pump to be ON. The

Circuit 1 light will continue to blink for the duration of the service mode.

To Deactivate Service Mode:

Press and hold button #1 on the PE653 receiver until the indicator light stops blinking (approx. 5

seconds).
