Safety Precautions
Please comply with these precautions
/ measures to avoid actions that may
endanger your safety and those of
other road users, and maximize device
performance.
Road safety
The use of a mobile phone while driving
is illegal. If you need to make or receive
a call, move your vehicle to the left side
of the road and allow it to come to a
complete stop before using your phone.
Aircraft Safety
Switch your phone off while boarding
an aircraft. Signal from your phone
can affect aircraft system. You are
legally obliged to comply with this
recommendation.
Switch your phone off when entering
any explosive area. Observe any
provided guidelines or regulations.
Emergency Calls
The Emergency Number worldwide
for mobile is 112. If you are out of the
coverage area of your mobile; network,
dial 112 and the mobile will search any
existing network to call the emergency
number.

Battery Use
To extend the battery life of your
device:
• Use the standard wall charger while
charging the phone for the first
time.
• During the first 3-4 charge cycles,
charge the battery until the battery
indicator on the display stops
moving up and down.
• Avoid partial charging. Wait for the
battery to discharge completely
before charging it again.
• Use the USB cable to charge the
device only during an emergency.

Getting Started
Assembling the device
1. Locate the groove at the bottom of
the phone, and pull the back cover
to open.
2. If the battery is inside its
compartment, lift it in direction of
the arrow.

3. Insert the SIM card. Make sure that
the contact area on the card is
facing the connectors on the device
and that the bevelled corner is
facing the top of the device.
4. Insert memory card. Take a
compatible microSD, and place it
into memory card slot as displayed
below.

5. Insert the battery. Align the
contacts of the battery with the
corresponding connectors on the
battery compartment and insert in
the direction of the arrow.
Charging the Device
Insert the Plug of your charger to the
charging port at the base of your phone.
When you begin to charge the battery,
the stripe of Signal Strength on the right
corner of the screen starts to roll. When
battery gets fully charged, the stripe
becomes stable and stops rolling.

Dual SIM Card
Your phone support dual SIM cards,
allowing you to use two different
phones numbers on one mobile phone.
Flight Mode
Continue using basic operations of the
device while the transmitting function
is switched off. This enables passengers
on airplanes to use the device in-flight.
In Flight Mode, you cannot use the call
or messaging functions of the phone,
use of Camera, To do list, and Calendar
is permitted.
Keypad Lock
To prevent accidental dialing of
numbers, your device is configured to
automatically lock the keypad if left idle
for 30 seconds .To customize the auto
lock options, select Menu
Settings
Security Settings Keypad Lock.
Your options are:
• Select Off to disable keypad auto
lock.
• Select the period after which the
keypad is locked automatically.
To change the lock code, select Menu
Settings Security Settings
Change Password
Phone Lock
Password.
To disable automatic keypad lock, select
Menu
Settings Security Settings
Keypad lock and select Off.
Navigation Keys
Left Soft Key
In idle mode, click Left soft key to access
the main menu.

Right Soft Key
Use to perform functions that displays in
the lower right of the display screen. For
example, it works as a key to navigate to
the previous screen. In idle mode, click to
access the Contact list.
Dial Key
This device is equipped two dial keys.
When you receive a call, the SIM number
is displayed along with the caller’s
information. Select SIM 1 Dial Key or
SIM2 Dial Key.
End Key
Select and hold the End key to switch
the phone on or off. During a call, select
the End key to exit call.
Numeric keys (0-9)
In standby mode, use the 0-9 keys to
enter a number you wish to call.
In standby mode, press and hold “1” key
to enter Voice mailbox.
In text areas of the phone, use to insert
numbers or the corresponding alphabets.
In the application menu, press the
corresponding number to quickly select
a sub-menu item.

Making and Receiving calls
Make a call
• Enter the phone number including
the area code. Select Clear to erase
a digit.
• For international calls, prefix the
number by inserting the +’ sign
followed by the country code, area
code (without the initial zero and
phone number).
Receive calls
When you receive a call, the SIM for
which the call is for is displayed on the
screen along with the incoming call
information. Select SIM 1 Dial Key or
SIM2 Dial Key to receive a call.
• Select End key to exit an incoming
or outgoing call.
• To receive a call, press the Answer
key.
Making a Call using Call History
The number and time of each call that
you make or receive is stored in the Call
History module of the device. You can
retrieve a number from call history and
initiate a new call. To do so;
• Select SIM1 Dial Key or SIM2 Dial
key to view its corresponding call
logs.
• Use the up or down arrow keys in
the four-way navigation panel to
select a contact to call.
Call Options
During a call, the phone allows you
to perform various functions. Select
Options during a call to view the call
options. The options are:

• Hold single Call: Place the active
call on hold
• End single Call: End the active call
• New call: Initiate new call to start a
conference.
• Phonebook: View the phonebook
• Messages: Select to launch the
Messages menu.
• Sound recorder: Record the active
call
• Mute: Turn on/off the Microphone
• DTMF (Dual-tone Multi-
frequency(: You can choose on/off,
which is to send dual-tone multi-
frequency sound. This can offer
dialing to the telephone numbers
with extensions or IVR systems
installed for menu driven options.
• Voice Changer: Set different voice
mode during the call.
Connecting to the PC
You can connect this handset to a
computer’s USB port using the cable
provided with the device packaging. To
do so;
1. Connect the smaller end of the
cable to the input slot at the left
side of the phone, and the other
end to a standard USB port on your
computer.
2. An on-screen dialog prompts you to
select the connection mode, your
option;
• Mass Storage: Access the

phone and memory card of your
phone as a regular hard drive
partition on your computer.
Display Map the device as drive
on the computer and transfer
files between the PC and phone.
Great feature to backup phone
data to your computer.
• Com port: Use this device as a
modem to browse the Internet
on your computer using your
phone’s GPRS connection.
Note: This device supports mass storage
only when your phone is power off.

SIM Tool Kit
If your network operator offers such a
service and you have subscribed for it,
you will be able to use this function. If
you insert a SIM card with a value-added
(STK) function, you can use your desired
service after selecting the STK service
function.
Wireless Access Protocol
WAP or Wireless Application Protocol
browser provides all the basic services
of a computer based web browser
but is simplified to operate within the
restrictions of a mobile phone. The WAP
Browser has the following options:
• Homepage: Homepage allows you
to enter the default URL on the
phone. This will enable you to go
to the same page every time you
access the homepage.
• Bookmarks: Bookmarks enables
you to mark a place in an electronic
document or a pointer (primarily to
an internet URL) in an Internet web
browser.
• Recent pages: Quick access to
frequently visited websites.
• Offline pages: Save web pages for
offline viewing.
• Enter address: Enter the desired
address (URL) of the website or
webpage in this column.
• Service inbox: Service Inbox
receives and stores URLs through
text messages from the operator.
You can read them and accept to go
to the web page and browse.
