This guide is designed to give you basic instructions relating to your new machine. The guide will take you
through each step of a wash programme from loading the machine to the completion of the wash cycle.
Details of all the programmes and options are contained with the instruction book supplied with the machine.
We recommend that for your own safety and to ensure the best wash result every time, that you read the
instruction book.
A Wash & Dry Programme
1. Check the wash care labels on the laundry you intend to wash and group accordingly. Load the machine and
close the door by pushing until the latch clicks.
2. Add detergent and fabric conditioner to the dispenser drawer.
3. Select the required programme by rotating the Programme Selector. Refer to the programme guide on the
back to select the appropriate programme.
When the programme is selected the STOP indicator light will flash.
4. For a wash programme without drying turn the drying time selector to OFF ( ).
5. Select the wash option that you require. The options are listed in the instruction book. When the option is
selected the switch button will illuminate.
6. Start the wash cycle by pressing the START/PAUSE button. The door locked indicator light and the START light
will illuminate, within a few seconds the programme will begin.
7. The programme will run to completion and the COUNTDOWN display
will indicate the progress and the end of the cycle. Approximately 2 minutes
after the completion of the cycle the 'Door Locked' light will go out, at this
point you are able to remove the laundry.
8. Remove the laundry, close the door and turn the Programme Selector to 'OFF'.
Always ensure that the control knob is turned to 'OFF' before selecting a new
programme, this resets the machine.
9. Drying
The maximum load in the dryer is 4 kg. Select the appropriate drying programme
using the programme selector, High Dry for cottons, Low Dry for synthetics.
Always read the wash care label on laundry to ensure that it is suitable for tumble
drying. Select the drying programme (sensor drying) or drying time by turning the Drying selector until the
indicator mark aligns with your choice. Start the drying cycle by pressing the START/PAUSE button.
If the drying time is selected before the wash cycle is completed the machine will automatically commence the
drying programme. The programme guide indicates which programmes operate in this way.
Warnings
Do not allow children to play with the machine or tamper with the controls.
