Installing the UIM Card and Battery

Switch offyourphone before installing or replacing the battery and UIM

card.

1. Removethebackcover.



2. Hold the UIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and slip it

intothecardholder.

3. Insertthebatterybyaligningthegoldcontactsonthebatterywiththe

gold contacts in the battery compartment. Gently push down on the

batteryuntilitclicksintoplace.

4. Pressthecovergentlybackintoplaceuntilyouhearaclick.

Charging the Battery

1. Plugoutrubberawayfromthejackonthebottomofthehandsetand

connectthe lead from thechargertothesocketonthebottomofthe

phone.(Note:Thesidewitharrowshouldbeuprightwhileconnecting).

2. ConnectthechargertoastandardwallACsocket.

3. Whenthe charging animationon the screenstops, the chargingis

completed.Thechargingtakesusuallyupto2

~

3hours.During

charging,itisanormalphenomenonthatthebattery,phoneandchar-

germaygethot.

4. Afterthecompletionofcharging,disconnectthechargerfromthe

phoneandACsocket.

again.

PUK Code:Consecutiveinputting wrongPIN code for three timescan

causelockingofUIMcard.Tounlock,youneedPUKcode.

Note:

PINcodeandPUKcodemaybeofferedtogetherwiththeUIMcard.Ifnot,

pleasecontactwithnetworkoperator.

The limitation times for consecutive wrong code may vary with different

UIMcard.

This warranty is end user’s sole remedy and ZTE’s sole liability for de-

fectiveornonconformingitems,andisinlieuofallotherwarranties,

expressed,implied orstatutory,including but notlimited tothe implied

warranties of merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, unless

otherwiserequiredunderthemandatoryprovisionsofthelaw.

Limitation of Liability

ZTEshallnotbeliableforanylossofprotsorindirect,special,incidental

orconsequentialdamagesresultingfromorarisingoutoforinconnection
