Prestige 1400
The P1400 is a high-performance, broadband WAN router with
an integrated 16-port Ethernet switch. Incorporating the latest-in technology,
the 1400 provides a scalable and flexible platform to deliver networking
services for the MTU and SMB markets.
In addition to the WAN port, the IP-alias enabled Ethernet port allows the P1400
to support not only legacy T1/E1 links but also the broadband xDSL and cable
modems.

Coupled with the HomePNA/ADSL/VDSL-to-Ethernet switches from ZyXEL, the P1400
is ideally suited for the in-building market with its integrated Ethernet switch.
In a typical setup, of the P1400 supports up to 14 above mentioned switches.
The VLAN equipped Ethernet switch isolates each user from each other to
provide security that is vital in a multi-tenant environment.
It also allows you to connect local application servers such as a web and e-mail
server and so on without an external switch.
Used alone, the P1400 is equally at home for campus networking,
Internet cafe, inter-office connection and other applications.
