Using the Attachments Tube,
Hose & Attachments - Figures1&2
Theattachmenttube(16)isusefulforvacuumingcornersandhard-to-reach
areas.Thehandlegrip(1)shouldbeintheupright,lockedposition(as shown
in figure 1).Griptheattachmenttubehandle(11),pullitupandawayfrom
themachineandstretchoutthehose(12)untilitlocks(thislockingaction
willpreventthehosefromretractingbackintotheattachmenttubewhile
itisinuse).Variousattachmentsmaybeinsertedontotheendofthetube.
Afteruse,removeattachmentandre-inserttheattachmenttubeintothe
backofthemachine.Be sure that the attachment tube handle (11) is in-
serted over the projection tab (see #22, page 5).Iftheattachment tube
handleisproperlyseatedovertheprojectiontab,thehosewillautomatically
retractandyoumayresumevacuuming.Thereisnoneedtoturnoffthe
vacuumwhileswitchingfromuprightvacuumingtousingtheattachment
tubeorhose.
Tousethehosewithouttheattachmenttube,pullthehoseoutoftheat-
tachmenttubewhilethetubeisstillattachedtothemachineandsecurely
seated over the projection tab (22).Connectanattachmenttool,ifdesired,
ontotheendoftheflexiblehose.Youmayalsoreleasethehosewhilethe
attachmenttubeisdisengagedfromthemachinebypressingtherelease
buttonatthebaseofthehandle(11).Thehoseshouldneverbeusedwiththe
brushstillincontactwiththefloor.
Whileusingattachmenttools,ifthepowerheadbrushrollerisnotableto
disengagefromthefloorsurface,youmaykeepthebrushrolleroffthecar-
petbyplacingthehandle(1)initsuprightlockedpositionandloweringthe
handlewithonehandtoraisethebrushrolleroffofthefloor.Operateat-
tachmentaccessorieswiththeotherhand.Or,withthehandleintheupright
lockedposition,themachinemaybetippedbackwardsothatitrestsonthe
rearofthebaghousing(6),andthepowerheadislockedinaperpendicular
positiontothefloor.
Tovacuumwalls,underbeds,orhigher-reachareas,etc.,theSEBO
auto-
matic
canbefittedwithanadditionalstraighttubeandthewallandfloor
brush.Themachinewillthenperformasacylindervacuum.

Onhardfloors(figure5),theadjustmentwheel(40),movesupwardintothe
machinesothatthebrushlowersandbecomesflushwiththefloor.
Oncarpetedfloors(figure6).theadjustmentwheel(40)movesdownwardout
ofthemachinesothatthebrushrises.Theadjustmentwheelmovesupand
downautomaticallytoadjustthebrushtothecorrectsetting.Thisprovides
properbrushaction,whilemaintainingoptimalairflow.
