1. Error Messages and their Troubleshooting
ERROR_1_1_Servo motor encoder abnormality – Turn off power, wait briefly, then turn on power.
A. Restart unit.
B. Inspect encoder cable connections.
C. Replace the servo motor.
D. Replace the drive board.
ERROR_1_2_Servo motor excessive heat warning; unit operates at half speed.
A. Inspect the thermal sensor cable connection at the thermal sensor and the drive board.
B. The servo motor current is excessive.
C. Replace the drive board.
D. The walk belt is worn or too tight.
E. The treadmill has been used too long. Turn it off for 30 minutes.
ERROR_1_3_Servo motor sped excessively; restart the unit.
A. Restart the unit.
B. Inspect the encoder cable connection at the drive board.
C. Replace the drive board.
D. Replace the servo motor.
ERROR_2_1_IGBT excessive current; Restart the unit.
A. Restart the unit.
B. Inspect the servo motor cable connection at the drive board.

D. Inspect the servo motor coil for an electrical open.

ERROR_2_2_IGBT excessive heat; Unit operates at half speed.
A. Inspect the servo motor cable on the drive board.

D. Replace the servo motor.
ERROR_3_1_Incline motor calibration abnormality.
A. Inspect the incline calibration cable connection on the drive board.
B. Inspect the incline motor calibration switch.
C. Replace the drive board.
ERROR_4_1_Power switch is off.
ERROR_4_2_Power supply is too low; Once power supply is normal, restart the unit.
A. Inspect exterior power supply voltage.
B. Replace the drive board.
ERROR_4_3_Power supply voltage is too high; Once power supply is normal, restart the unit.
A. Inspect exterior power supply voltage.
B. Replace the drive board.
ERROR_8_1_Communication abnormality occurred at start up.
A. Inspect the display IC installation.
B. Inspect cable connections.
C. Replace the drive board.
ERROR_8_2_Communication abnormality occurred after start up.
A. Inspect the display IC installation.

2. Troubleshooting - Unit Will Not Start.

1 Power outlet Inspect whether the power cord is in the outlet securely.
2 Filter Inspect the filter wire connections.

1. Inspect the fuse holder cable connection.
2. Inspect the fuse holder spring clip connection.
3. Inspect whether the fuse is burnt.
4 Power switch 2. If the LED is not lit, inspect the power cord and filter cable connections.
1. Put the power switch to “1”. Inspect whether the switch LED lights.
3. Replace the power switch.

Inspect the CN4, CN5 connections on the EAC drive board.
5 Drive board Inspect the CN4, CN5 connections on the EAC drive board.
6 Drive board Replace the drive board.
3.Troubleshooting - Motor Does Not Operate.
Order Part Troubleshooting
1 Display board
1. Press on the display board IC to secure it.
2. Inspect the cable and its connections from the display to the drive board.
2 Cables 2. Inspect whether cables are pinched.
1. Inspect the cable connections from the display board to the drive board.
3. Replace the cables as a test.

Reconnect filter wires.
4 Encoder
1. Reconnect CN 3, CN5 cable connections.
2. Replace the encoder as a test. Is the encoder malfunctioning?
5 Drive board
1. Inspect cable connections on the drive board, including the inductor (220V) cable
connections.
2. Replace the drive board as a test. Is the drive board malfunctioning?
6 Motor
1. Inspect the CN 6 cable connection on the drive board.
2. Replace the motor as a test. Is the motor malfunctioning?
4. Troubleshooting – Incline Will Not Operate Up or Down

1 Incline motor 1. Inspect whether the incline motor has an electrical open.
2 Drive board
2. Inspect whether the 3.15A incline fuse F3 on the drive board is burnt? If so, replace it.
1. Inspect the CN1(INCLINE POWER) cable connection to the drive board.
3. Inspect the power to the incline motor. When LED2_UP or LED3_DN lights, is there
voltage output?

2. Inspect whether the cable is pinched or an electrical open.
1. Inspect cable connections.
3. Replace the cable as a test.
4 Display
Inspect whether, when you press INCL<>/<> and the incline values on the display
change, LED2_UP or LED3_DN on the drive board lights.
5. Troubleshooting - TFT LCD Screen Does Not Light Up

1. Inspect the TV terminal and exterior TV signal cable connections.
2. Inspect cables for bad connections or an electrical open.

Inspect the adapter connections and look for an electrical open.
6 AV board
1. Inspect the AV board and exterior DVD signal cable connections.
2. Replace the AV board as a test.
7 Cable Inspect cables for bad connections or an electrical open.
8 5-pin cable Inspect cables for bad connections or an electrical open.
9 Inverter board
1. Inspect CN1, CN2 cable connections.
2. Replace the inverter board as a test.
10 2-pin cable
Inspect cables for bad connections or an electrical open.
AV board
6. Troubleshooting – Safety Key Does Not Operate

1 Safety key Inspect the safety key magnet.
2 Safety key board Test the safety key board reed switch function.

1. Inspect whether the program is installed properly.

4. If LED2 is lit, LED4 flashes, but there is no output, the HTR board has an issue.
5. If no one touches the HTR contact pads but LED4 on the HTR board flashes, the
HTR board has an issue.
