This control panel has an innovative technology that will drive you are setting your fridge. When un option or a function is activated the

indicator is fully lit on; when a option is available but not selected is partially lit on.

NOTE: when you are setting temperature or interacting with the control panel, all the buttons are switched on. when you are not using the

control panel, in order to save energy it will show you only the relevant information (the temperature set, the activated options).

Every time you want to use the control panel and see all the functions, you just need to touch any button to wake up the panel.

FIRST TIME USE

HOW TO START THE APPLIANCE

After plugging in the appliance to the mains, press the On/Standby

button to switch on. When switched on for the rst time, the display

will guide you to basic conguration (Set Language): a message in

dierent languages is displayed in loop; Use the Menu button to

scroll the list of languages and conrm the language by pressing OK

button.

After set language, the control panel will be turned on default

status. The default value settings are displayed for refrigerator (5 °C)

and for Freezer compartment (-18°C).

After starting the appliance, wait at least 4-6 hours before placing

food into the fridge and into the freezer compartment.

The default (factory) values of the fridge compartment settings

light-up.

CONNECTIVITY PRE-REQUISITE

When the refrigerator is connected to Internet,You can always

monitor and operate remotely the appliance. To use this feature You

need to own:

– a smart phone running Android 4.3 (or higher) with a 1280x720

(or higher) screen or a tablet or a smart phone running iOS 8 (or

higher);

– a wireless router 2.4Ghz WiFi b/g/n connected to internet (verify

with your smart device that the signal strength of your home

wireless network close to the appliance is good).

Important in order to use App, You have to :

– Check if the room in which your smart appliance is installed is

covered by the signal of your home wireless network.

– Own a IOS device (Ipad/Iphone) or Android (Smartphone)

– Download the free “Live” app from the reference App store or

Google play of your smart device and install it on your device.

– Subscribe (legal terms) to the service to be able to benet of the

features provided through the app.

– Register your refrigerator and connect it

to your home wireless

network.

FUNCTIONS

ON/STANDBY

To put the product in Stand-by, press and hold the On/Stand

By button for 3 seconds. All the indicators turn o except On/

Standby button.

Press again to reactivate the appliance.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

FRIDGE TEMPERATURE

To adjust the Fridge Temperature, press the Fridge °C button

The Fridge Temperature can be adjusted between +2°C and +

8°C, as shown by the Fridge Temperature Display (°C).

FREEZER TEMPERATURE

To adjust the Freezer Temperature, press the Freezer °C button

. The Freezer Temperature can be adjusted between -16°C and

-24°C, as shown by the Freezer Temperature Display (°C).

VACATION MODE

This function can be activated to reduce the energy

consumption of the appliance during a prolonged period of

time. To activate the Vacation, choose the function from the

menu, set to >ON< and press OK button to conrm the

selection. To deactivate this function repeat the same procedure

setting to >OFF<. When the function is enabled, the related

symbol will light up and on the fridge display appears the sign

“–“. Changing the temperature setpoint will automatically

deactivate the function.

The freezer compartment works properly.

KEY LOCK

To lock/unlock the keys of the Control Panel, press the Key Lock

button for 3 seconds: the Key Lock indicator will be displayed for

a short time and an acoustical signal will be played.

SMART DISPLAY

This optional function can be used to save energy. To activate

the Smart Display, choose the function from the menu, set to

>ON< and press OK button to conrm the selection.

When activated, only 6th sense fresh control logo is lit on, other

buttons and the displays are switched o to minimize the

consumption.

To deactivate this function repeat the same procedure setting

to >OFF<. Remember that this function does not disconnect the

appliance from the power supply, but only reduce the power

consumed by external display

Every time you want to use the control panel and see all the

functions, you just need to touch any button to wake up the

panel.

USE OF MENU

Touching the Menu button you will access additional functions

and settings:

When you touch Menu Button, the menu options will appear

into the display: you can scroll with the menu button

choose and conrm through the OK button

To exit menu you can choose Exit and conrm with OK, or just

leave (display automatically will exit after 10 seconds the control

panel will return to display default information).

FREEZE CONTROL

Freeze Control is an advanced technology that reduces

temperature uctuations in the whole freezer compartment to

minimum, thanks to an innovative air system, totally

independent from the fridge. Freeze burns are reduced up to

60% and food preserves its original quality and color.

To activate the Freeze Control choose the function from the

menu, set to >ON< and press OK button to conrm the

selection. To deactivate this function repeat the same procedure

setting to >OFF<. The function works properly in a dened

range of temperature: between ‐22°C and ‐24°C. In case of Fast

freezing is engaged, the function “Freeze control” is inhibited

until the Fast Freezing function switched o.

6TH SENSE FRESH CONTROL

This function automatically works to ensure the optimal

conditions to preserve the stored food. If there are any

variations, 6th Sense Fresh Control immediately restores the

ideal conditions. Results are outstanding: freshness preserved at

best throughout the fridge cavity up to 4 times longer.

FAST COOL

Using Fast Cool function it is possible to increase the cooling in

the refrigerator compartment. The use of this function is

recommended when placing a very high quantity of food in the

refrigerator compartment. Press the Fast Cool button to activate

Fast Cool function. When activated, the Fast Cool indicator will

turn on. The function is automatically disabled after 6 hours, or

can be manually disabled by pressing Fast Coo button.

FAST FREEZE

The use of this function is recommended when placing a very

high quantity of food to be frozen in the freezer compartment.

24 hours before freezing fresh food, press the Freezer button to

activate the Fast Freeze function. When activated, the Fast

Freeze indicator turns on. After 24 hours place the food to be

frozen in the middle freezing zone of freezer compartment. The

function is automatically disabled after 48 hours, or can be

manually disabled by pressing Fast Freeze button.

PARTY MODE

Party Mode function allows to quickly chill a drink bottle. Put

the bottle in the freezer compartment, then enter in menu,

choose PARTY MODE function and activate it setting to >ON<

then press OK button to conrm the selection. After you activate

PARTY MODE the remaining time to chill your drink is shown on

the display, after this time the fridge give you an acoustical

signal to inform your drink is ready and to remind to remove

your bottle from freezer. Party mode deactivates at the end of

time. To deactivate this function before time is end repeat the

same procedure choosing Party Mode in menu and setting to

>OFF<. Always remember to remove bottle from freezer.

NIGHT TARIFF

Night Tari function allows one to concentrate the energy

consumption of the product during o-peak time (usually

coinciding with night time), when energy is available in large

quantity and it costs less than during the day (only in specic

countries –using multiple-rate system based on o-peak

times- check your rate plan with your utility company)

To activate this function enter in Menu, scroll functions by menu

button

, then conrm NIGHT TARIFF with OK button and

set it to >ON<. To deactivate this function repeat the same

procedure setting to >OFF<.

After you activate the function, the product automatically starts

to adapt the energy consumption to the time (i.e. Consuming

more energy during the night then during the day).

NOTE: when Live is active and your product is connected, you

have an advanced release of Night Tari option on your App: it is

called Smart Defrost and automatically will set the best energy

tari basing on your rate plan (in this case the Night Tari

option is disabled in fridge Menu).

REFRIGERATOR LIGHT

The light system inside the refrigerator compartment uses LEDs

light, allowing a better lightning as well as a very low energy

consumption.

If the LED light system does not work, please contact the Service to

replace it.

Important: The refrigerator compartment light switches on when the

refrigerator door is opened. If the door is kept open for more then 10

minutes the light will be automatically switched o.

ACTIVE 0 COMPARTMENT

The Active 0 compartment is specically designed to maintain a

low temperature and a suitable humidity level, in order to keep

foods fresher for longer (e.g. meat, sh, cold cuts ).

Activating and deactivating the compartment

To activate/deactivate the Active 0 compartment, press the

dedicated button on the control panel.

FAN + ANTIBACTERIAL AIR FILTER

The Fan improves temperature distribution inside the

refrigerator compartment, allowing better preservation of

stored food.

If the appliance has the Fan it can be equipped with the

antibacterial lter.

Remove it from the box placed in the crisper

drawer and insert into the fan cover.

The replacement procedure is included in

the lter box.

The air lter symbol is lit on to indicates that

it is expired and need to be replaced. The lter expires in 6

months. The User Interface gives a visual feedback, without

acoustic alarm. On text display show message “Replace air lter”.

After replaced the lter, press Stop Alarm button to reset

message on the text display/antibacterial air lter indicator.

REMOTE CONTROL

If Your refrigerator is connected to Internet, it allows

You to operate and monitor the appliance remotely

using a smart device.

To enable Remote Control:

•Make sure router is ON

•Select from MENU :“7. LIVE”, conrm by click button

•Select “1. Set up” conrm by click button

•Press WPS button on Your router

•Make sure the Connections Status indicator solid ON

•The refrigerator is now in Remote Control mode and is ready to

be operatedvia App.

- check your fridge and activate options also when you are out

of home

- manage of food inventory and shopping list, receiving

notication about food

expiring - access additional functions as for instance the smart

HOW TO STORE FOOD

AND BEVERAGE

FRIDGE COMPARTMENT

Use recyclable plastic, metal, aluminum and

glass containers and cling lm to wrap

foods.

Always use closed containers for liquids and

for food that may give o or be tainted by

odor or avor transfer or cover them.

If you have a little quantity of food to store

in the refrigerator, we recommend to use

the shelves above the crisper for fruits and

vegetables since this is the coolest area of

the compartment.

Foods which give o a large amount

ethylene gas and those that are sensitive to

this gas, such as fruit, vegetables and salad,

should always be separated or wrapped so

as not to reduce the storage life; for

example do not store tomatoes together

with kiwi fruits or cabbage.

To avoid bottles falling over, you can use the

bottle holder (available on selected models).

Do not store food too close together to

enable sucient air circulation.

FREEZER COMPARTMENT

The freezer is the ideal storage location for

store frozen food, make ice cubes and freeze

fresh food in the freezer compartment.

The maximum number of kilograms of fresh

food that can be frozen within a 24-hour

period is indicated on the rating plate (…

kg/24h).

If you have a little quantity of food to store

in the freezer, we recommend to use the

coldest areas of your freezer compartment,

corresponding to the middle area.
