Installation
Place the mount over the centre mark. Take the bubble level, place
it on the top edge of the plate and adjust it until the bubble is rest-
ing in the middle of line marks. Once level mark the four corner
holes with a pencil being careful not to move the plate.
Alternatively you can trace the outline and holes of the plate on to
a blank piece of A4 paper. Level the drawn guide with the bubble
level and use that to guide you where to drill the holes.
Placing The Bracket
Test place the wall bracket around the room until you nd the best
suitable location for it, then draw a rough centre line on your
chosen location. Please take into consideration the size of the
TV/monitor for clearance as well as plug and aerial socket
placements. Be careful of pipes and electrical wiring before drilling.

Installation
Drilling (Brick Wall)
After the drill hole placements have been marked, clear the work
area so it is safe to work in. Place dust sheets if required.
If the placement is above chest height you will need to use a safety
step or work platform to minimise risk of injury whilst using power
tools.
You will need to drill a smaller pilot hole before the larger 10mm
hole. This will minimise any possible damage and injury or
accidents.
Fit the 4mm or 5mm masonry drill bit to the hammer drill. Place the
wall plug next to the drill bit with the tips level. Wrap a little masking
or electricians tape about 5mm above the height of the wall plug.
This will mark the depth of how far you need to drill.
Next, t and mark the 10mm masonry drill bit in the same way as
previously mentioned and redrill the holes to the larger diameter.

Fitting The TV Mount
Check the TV/monitors mount placement holes. Once checked
place the arms in the correct orientation on the rear plate.
Secure the arm in place by inserting the M6 x12mm bolt (pouch
‘K’) through the arm’s square hole making sure the arm notch lines
up with the rear plate. Use the M6 nut (pouch ‘L’) to lock the arm in
place using 10mm spanner or socket wrench.

Alternate Installation
Stud Wall
Using a stud detector nd out where the wall studs are. Newer UK
builds typically have the studs placed 406mm (16”) approximately
apart, but they can be spaced up 609mm (24”) with an approximate
thickness of 36mm (1½”).
If you have a double stud you will be able to mount the bracket
on this without a bracket mount board. Mount in the same way as
listed on page 5 to 7, but instead of using a masonry drill bit, use a
twist drill bit (general purpose).

Alternate Installation
If you don’t have a double stud you will need to make a mounting
board using marine ply or suitable material. Use the supplied wall
plugs and coach screws to hang the board. To x the bracket to the
plate you will need to use 4 x M6 nut and bolts with 8x washers.
Use a stud nder to nd the distance between the outer edges of
the studs. This will tell you the length of board you will need. The
height of the board should be 260mm. Use a twist drill bit to drill
the holes to mount the board to the studs, loosely secure in to
place as you will need to remove it after the next step.
Once the board is tted, place the bracket in to position and mark
the holes the same as page 5. Remove the board from the wall and
drill the placement holes for the bracket. You will need to
counter sink the rear holes to accommodate the washer diameter
and the depth of the bolt head. Put the bracket into place lining
up the holes. Put a washer on the M6 bolt and pass it through the
holes from the back. Place another washer on the end of the bolt
and tighten the nut. Once all four bolts have been tted, place the
completed mount on the wall and secure it tightly with the coach
screws.
