Put the motorcycle on a stand so the rear
wheel is clear of the ground. Make sure it´s
steadily xed so it will not fall over.

Loosen and remove the standard shock
absorber(s). See the motorcycles Workshop
manual.

Fit the Öhlins shock absorber(s) in the same
position as the standard shock absorber(s).

Continue your work according to the Owners
manual, section adjustment.
Note!1
Lower the vehicle so that the suspension
is slightly compressed before you tighten
the screws.
Caution!✋
Make sure that you tighten all screws to the
correct torque and that nothing fouls or restricts
movement of the shock absorber/front fork/
steering damper when the suspension is fully
compressed or extended.

is safely supported to prevent it from tipping over.

Before you install this product clean the vehicle.
Normaly the shock absorber is mounted with
the cylinder head upwards. Check that there
is enough clearence to other details both in
loaded and unloaded position.
