Shimano FH-6402-8 is a freehub and cassette sprocket set, designed for use with HG (Hyper Glide) sprockets. It is compatible with frames with an over lock nut dimension of 130mm and requires the use of a hyper glide compatible narrow type HG chain. The FH-6402-HG freehub can also be used with the former CS-7400-8 UG sprockets, but the HG and UG sprockets should never be used in combination.
