PLAYING MPEG-4 AND XvID VIDEO FILES
XvID is an open source compressed video format. Most XvID les will play; AVI
or MPEG-4 video les may be recognised by the player but may not play - this is
dependent on the le structure and the way they have been burned to disc.
Load a disc: The rst le will display, if it is a video the video will play.
Press MENU to display the Main Menu.
Video Files can be in sepa-
rate folders or in a folder
with other images.
NOTES
Video les play in the list along with other les. If you do not want these les to
appear, use the Sort File routine on the previous page to group them together -
you can then play video les as a group or jpgs as a group.
Video Files do not appear in the image box in the Main Menu, nor are they visible
in Thumbnail Mode.
If a le format (video or still image) is not recognised by the player, it will be
omitted from the list.
Although XvID les use the MP3 format for their sound tracks, MP3 and other
Audio les cannot be played.
