Due to component shortage and the availability of form-fit-function replacement products, the MRD-
305, MRD-315 and MRD-355 will be moved to the life cycle phase Limited at the Last order date. This
change is in line with the technical development in the cellular field, where operators are shifting focus
away from 3G towards 4G/LTE.
For MRD-305 and MRD-355 there are available form-fit-function alternatives with MRD-405 and MRD-
455. The MRD-4xx is backward compatible with MRD-3xx and supports the most frequently used
cellular frequency bands for GPRS / EDGE / 3G / HSPA. See datasheets for details.
For MRD-315 there is ongoing development of a form-fit-function alternative with planned release prior
to last order date.
A finite number of products will be available for delivery. If the available products are depleted prior to
Last Order Date, the corresponding replacement product will be offered as alternative.
The transfer takes place in two steps. At the date of the document the products are transferred to the
phase Mature. The transfer to Limited takes place at the Last Order Date.
