Legrand MKFOB Key Fob Remote Control allows you to set up a new Miro system with an entry/exit scene. You can use the MKFOB to set the wireless House ID, bind devices together, and create a scene with a custom light level. The MKFOB has three buttons:

  • Button 1: Recalls a house scene
  • Button 2: Rapid fade to OFF
  • Button 3: Slow fade to OFF

To set up the MKFOB, you will need to first set the House ID.

EASY SETUP WITHOUT A
HOUSE SCENE CONTROLLER
A new Miro system can be setup with an entry/exit scene
using the MKFOB. You can use the MKFOB to set the
wireless House ID, bind devices together and create a scene
with a custom light level.
With the simple setup described below, the MKFOB recalls
a house scene from button 1. The other buttons on the
MKFOB turn the bound devices OFF.

2 Rapid fade to OFF
3 Slow fade to OFF
SET THE HOUSE ID
1. Momentarily press any button on
the MKFOB. The LED should be
solid yellow.*
If the LED is a color other than yellow* see “I need
to start over” in the Troubleshooting section of the
Installation Instructions. All other devices in the Miro
system should be solid yellow.
2. Press buttons 1 & 2 on the MKFOB
for about two seconds to generate
the house ID. Its LED begins
flashing yellow.
3. The LEDs on the other Miro devices flash green.

4. While the
LED on the
MKFOB
is still
flashing
yellow press and hold button 1 until the LED changes
to green then starts flashing yellow again.
5. Go to each Miro switch or dimmer that you want to turn
on when the home is entered. Press and hold the top
left and bottom left corners of the switch paddle for
about 2 seconds until its LED changes from blinking
green to blinking yellow. Continue until all devices that
should respond to button 1 are blinking yellow.
6. Press buttons 1 & 2 on the MKFOB
for two seconds to terminate the
house binding.
All device LEDs should now be
solid green.

RECORD LIGHT LEVEL FOR THE SCENE
1. Set the desired light level at each device included in the
scene.
2. Press and hold button 1 on the MKFOB until the LED
flashes green twice.
TEST
Press button 1 to turn ON all devices bound to the scene.
Press button 2 or 3 to turn OFF all devices.
