Ono Sokki SE-2400 is a hand-held digital tachometer that makes it possible to display the rotational speed of a gasoline engine. It is not necessary to connect the tachometer to the engine, instead, it is brought close to the ignition coil to detect the leakage of magnetic flux while the engine is running. The user can easily take measurements in 1 r/min or 0.01 r/s units. The tachometer is equipped with a number of useful functions, such as:

  • HOLD function that allows the user to lock the displayed value even after the tachometer has been moved away from the ignition coil,
  • RECALL function that displays the last measured value when the power is switched off,
